Is there another way to get into the hidden service menu on an LG 50PS60 ? I have tried the menu/menu & enter/enter but nothing comes up. I'm trying to find how many hours are on the TV.

In my notes I have as well as menu/menu to try OK/OK together on set and remote. Also for remote only menu and numbers 6000, or 7777 or
these 0413. 8741. 8743. 8878. Best of luck. -

you might have to have a "service remote" for newer lg's. further, there is a few threads here that provide links to "making your own service remote" via playing a wav file on your computer that puts the resulting output thru to the output jack to a "ir diode"... thus "simulating" the required service remote sequence.Comment

The current main board on my Vizio m652i-b2 only has 1 of 4 HDMI ports working. Also, the coaxial port is not working.
So I ordered a replacement board. It boots up the tv, but the display is dark in areas, colors are off, etc. I have seen information online that a setting in the service menu may need to be adjusted. Have tried many ways to access the service menu using remote codes, but none work.
Can someone here provide the confirmed method for accessing the service menu on this tv? Thanks in advance! -

I want beacause i flashed mec5055 using rt809h now it's does not have service tag, but when I install service using F2 in bios setup after save service tag and press disable manufacturing mode using alt+f then battery chagring is permanently disabled. I want to resolve this problem... -
I had a the above tv qn55q60r that had a bad panel but everything else good. I had another panel here from un55nu6900 with bad leds and melted diffusers.
I put the nu6900 panel in and powered it up and it does work but there are lines vertical lines.
I was trying to change the panel type in the service menu but don’t see my exact panel. Anyway to fix this or someone have similar experience.

I had been using wave audio files to play via the headphone jack to an ir led but had difficulty getting the InStop file to light the led, no sign of life when viewing the led through the camera app on my mobile phone.
Anyway, came across this free android app called IR Wave Plus that can utilise a homemade audio jack to ir led lead.
Not limited to just LG either!
A few settings require adjustment but the app itself is rather straightforward.
In settings ensure the slider bar is set to maximum and Force volume to 100% for audio ir blaster is ticked.
