    Philips Ambilight picture issue

    Hello

I have a Philips 40' TV with 3 sided ambilight which started to make tricks. Sometimes when I turn it on id does turn on and ambilight start working but without picture, only sound and ambilight which is working and changing.

After it works for several hours than picture appears. Or if I turn it off and sometimes when I turn it on works.
Backlight works but only black screen without Philips logo is the case when turn it on and doesnt work. The other times it starts normally. Now when is colder, dont know if it is connected but this issue is more frequent.

What do you think...is it a t-con or power supply capacitor issue and when works some time it charges enough to power the picture?
    Any ideas?!

Maybe take the back off and check for bulged capacitors burn marks etc, be careful on the hot side, high voltage can be deadly.

        Sorry,
Forgot to mention that I have removed the back and nothing unusual. Caps were looking good. No burn marks.
        Forgot to take pictures though.
Is thay the power supply issue.

Have a Samsung monitor which also has no picture but it is because of the led panel that doesnt want to light. And the TV case is Led is ok just panel starts working whenever it wants

Check and see that all the expected voltages from the legend/little map on the board are correct.

MacBook Air A2337 (820-02016) USB-C Port Issue – Only Works in One Orientation (CC Line Problem?)
              by rounin
              Hi everyone,

I'm working on a MacBook Air 2020 (A2337, board 820-02016) and running into a strange USB-C issue. I've gone through quite a bit of testing and part replacement, but I'm stuck — hoping someone here can shed some light.

              🛠 Original Issue
              The machine initially wouldn't negotiate 20V over USB-C — stuck at 5V.
Diagnosis showed PP1V5_UPC0_LDO_CORE shorted to ground.

I replaced U3100 (UF400) using a donor board (A2179), and the machine powers on fine now.

No picture issue in Philips Chassis FTL2.1
              by charlesdutcher
              Hello,
My Plasma Philips 37inch chassis FTL2.1 does not show picture. It automatically goes into protection mode after 30 seconds (red led blinks at 3Hz)

Is there someone having any symptom like this? How to fix it?

              Thanks in advance!

Kenwood SW-505D no sound issue and pops from time to time when it works
              by ex250
              Hello mates,

I bought this subwoofer a few days ago used and blind and it works erratically, as far as I could see, it has been tampered with, the speaker is not the original one and of 8 Ohm when it should be of 4, and there are some welds like reworked by the boards.

It doesn't have much power (expected more from it) and it distorts if you increase the volume over the middle, maybe it's because of the high impedance of the speaker. The problem is that it has sound when it wants, the led panels all work correctly, you can hear the power relay on power on, but right now...

              Philips 37pfl560: Yellow picture
              by madyoyo
              HI.

I have a weird problem with an old Philips 37pfl560 TV i put out of storage: the picture have a noticeable yellow hue, and its not caused by the settings (did a factory reset). I've never seen this before. I will try to get a photo with a real camera, with my phone its hard to see because of automatic white balance, but in real live the whites are really yellow.

Anyone have an idea of what can cause this? Can CCFL tubes get "warmer" with time? This tv have several analog inputs,so its nice for retrogaming....

              A2141 Weird Issue But works
              by Stephen
Got an A2141 MacBook Pro 16" computer turns on however the track pad clicks but the keyboard has no life, NO LIQUID DAMGE whatsoever. Trackpad does click but the OS loads but the trackpad won't move the cursor, the keyboard is unresponsive. I replaced the cable and the trackpad to see if that was the issue but it was not, I went to see if the CAPS LOCK would turn on but it does not. Any indication what this is? I went and tested the lid sensor but nothing else. Battery holds a charge, fans spin normally, and lcd is good. I can use external mouse and keyboard without issue....
