I have this tv that is complete dead.. it shows no power at all. No stanby light.. i checked the power supply voltages with the harness connected to the main board and here are the only voltages i get... need help to find out the problem..

martin0101, do you have good soldering skills, if not I'd just grab that 28 dollar powersupply board from ebay, I know the ebay stuff could be bad but I've had pretty good luck with it. If you want to try to fix the one you have, we can try.

THe stby is ok but it looks like youre missing some voltages.

Did you check for capacitors bulging at the top, they don't have to bulge to be bad but if they are bulging theyre bad for sure.

Nomoresonys. I will be buying the one from ebay.. i will keep you posted to see if replacing the power board is the issue.. yea i dounloaded the schematics

You may want to check a little further before buying a new power supply. This set has a self diagnostic function. When the uC detects a problem, an LED flash code is produced. You said that you had no LED status light. If you have standby voltage, but don't have a status light, it could be a main board problem.

Your BL_ERR is also slightly above the 1.9V cut-off, so you may have multiple problems. There are ways to force the power supply on, so that you can see if you have a board problem, or a backlight LED problem. That would require some resistors.

That is a good plan, I just didn't know how long the board would be available at that price, could do that testing to be sure, board will take at least a couple days to arrive, nice to have a spare tho.

I checked the backlight with a backlight led tester and they all turn on .. voltage for all of them was 77.6.
I dont have any voltage eather when the backlight conbector is plug in to the power supply board

If you're in a hurry, go ahead and order the main board. If not, we could do a little troubleshooting to make sure it's not something simple like a power regulator. Let us know.
Keep in mind, even what I'd call an "easy" fix would likely require removing and soldering small smd components. You'd have to be set up to do that.

The service manual that I found does not have a schematic, but does have a component location diagram for the main board. The problem is, when you zoom in to see a component, the resolution is crap (see 1st pic). This is going to make it harder than expected to troubleshoot, but we can try. Did you happen to find a better schematic or diagram?

You can start by checking all the fuses on the main board. They appear to be well marked, and the color of the fuse (light blue/green?) stands out. There are several on the board, so just take your time and locate all of them. Power off, resistance check, ~0 ohms across fuse.

As you are looking for the fuses, keep your eye out for the IC's listed below. Need to see if you can use magnification to read the part numbers on them.

IC9003, 9008, 9017, 9018 (almost covered by heat sink), 9401.
