LG 65uj6200 flickering haf buttom of the screen

    Hi guys
I bought this 65" smart tv for 40$ from a lady who told me that the tv is dead and the screen is perfectly fine.i went home and turned out that the tv has a crack in the top right , but the tv works fine expect that spot and some vertical black line and the tv was watchable without any problem.
after 2 weeks, the tv started flickering as you can see in the video.
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XTJda_QDyfY
I want to know if the panel is causing this or may the Tcon ribbons.i didn't take the tv apart yet, if it's the panel it a waste of time for me.
i'm waiting for you input guys..
    thank you in advance

Yes that is caused by the crack. The crack spreads it eventually get into the control section for the gate drivers. It's losing capacity to run the horizontal span properly..

It's causing a short and thats what your seeing.
Did I leave the soldering iron on?

Thank you freakatr8 for your input. Your explanation is totally logical, but horizontal flickering is intermittent. I've uploaded a second video showing this

This will first be intermittent. Then after a bit it will become peminent.

Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Gen 10 - Flickering Screen
            by Ado02
            Hello everyone,

We recently replaced the OLED screen on a Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Gen 10. After about a month, the replacement screen began to flicker. Initially, updating the IntelĀ® IrisĀ® Xe graphics driver resolved the issue for about a week. However, when the problem recurred, updating the driver again had no effect.

The flickering only occurs once the system reaches the Windows login screen. Interestingly, if we disable the Intel GPU driver or connect the laptop to an external monitor, the flickering stops. We have tried installing two different replacement screens,...

Macbook 2017 with touchbar (A1706) won't turn on after removing the screen
            by Ryan.man
Hello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!

My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.

This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen...

Macbook Air M2 A2681 Kernel panics after screen replacement
            by reformatt
Just had a customer bring in a M2 MBA A2681 that had had a screen replacement in April at another repairer. Since then, she has been getting intermittent kernel panics. It's an aftermarket screen, and of course it fails in diagnostics as the calibration hasn't been done. The error in the panic log is "No device added after powering on the rails".

It seems the original repairer has swapped the board and the screen to other MAC's, and said that it isn't a screen issue. From what I understand, by doing a quick search on Google, this is in fact a screen issue. The panic relates...

HP ENVY HP 13-aq1013dx - screen flickering black if using touchpad or external mouse

This device came in due to the screen flickering if you use the touchpad or external mouse. It will flicker black when this occurs. If you use the touchscreen, the behavior does not appear. Also, if connected to external monitor, the external monitor is not affected by the flickering. I did a good amount of research on this, and concluded that it is due to the display driver. HP does not offer Windows 11 drivers for this model so I got the replacement drivers direct from Intel. I installed them and the problem...

iphone XS turns off when press on screen.
            by smic717394
            Hi,

I have a iphone XS that came in for a screen replacement, the screen was badly cracked, and inside missing scues, on the back of the screen still the blue protector, the screen was a LCD. So we replaced the screen and all good, installed the screen and we noticed that pressing the screen with a bit of force but not excessive, the phone dies. After plugging the charger it turns back on, but again if you press it it dies. I open the phone again, and I can't see anything major, with the phone open, if I press on the logic board, battery, charging board, or even putting pressure on...
