Samsung ln46c530 works until turned off then must unplug

OK so TV was working fine however recently when turned off you must wait 5 to 10 minutes or unplug the power for the TV to turn back on. Once on runs fine until turned off.

Attached are pictures of the main board and power supply I did not see any obvious bulging caps wondering what my next steps are in trouble shooting this TV. When it will not turn back on the red standby light is on and then starts flashing when you press power button

is there any pattern to the flashes of the led to indicate some code?

there is a broken rca plug pin in one of the sockets

Once you shut off the TV the red standby light is on pressing power again on the remote the light will blank five times but the TV will not turn on

Good call I missed that when I originally opened up the back panel just remove the broken plug fortunately it does not look like it was touching anything underneath it. Tested TV again after removing and still experiences the same symptoms

                :-(
anyways, since it is a readily repeatable condition, just do the basic tests to see whats up. Basically, when you power down and then power up and get the flashing condition, keep repeating the test BUT go and check all the voltages that are printed at the various connector areas on the main board / power board to see what they are like. Further since you know how to get it working (unplug / plug / power up), do that sequence and do the same checks and see if you can spot a difference. Go from there.

The other thing perhaps is to check the connectors to ensure they are seated well (maybe reseat).

Samsungs have a usual blinking pattern to them before they power up. Samsungs also do not have a error code blink output.

1st thing I would do is open it up and get some voltage readings off the pin out that goes from the power supply to the main board. I'm suspecting a 5v standby dying off or low upon powering back up again. Questionable AC Detect pin. Could be a primary output side of the power supply issue. Check caps on primary side and what their standing voltage is in standby after first plugging it in and then after running it for a while then turning it off and checking voltage there again.
Did I leave the soldering iron on?
