Vertical Lines -- Bad Picture -- LG 60PA6500

    Hello everyone!

I just got done replacing the control logic board on my LG 60PA6500, checking all the caps on my YSUS with an ESR meter, and replacing the Y-Buffer boards.

I have these bad spots where the picture is terribly messed up. What do I do?!

    Cry.

Good chance the panel is faulted on the flexible ribbons at the base, there's a chip embedded which fail or burn out.

Is this the original fault and why the ctrl bd was replaced? Tried the auto-gen test patterns on the ctrl bd?

The original fault was the "no picture, only sound" issue. Unfortunately, it has evolved into this now...

check the bottom edge boards on that side... especially where the tabs attach to the boards. Maybe someone "washed" the screen and caused the "initial issue". The connection areas along those boards should be clean / similar. But as was suggested, "crying" might be your only choice... that and selling the boards that you bought / know work.
