    Lg 55lm6410-tb

I have an issue with vertical segments on the screen from the right side through to centre. Have checked all voltage settings on power board nd have come back with correct pin settings. From the main board there are 2 lvds cables from main board to the base of the set connecting to 2 individual inverter boards. Trying to locate possible replacement boards, but can not locate or find these items. any help would be appreciated.

I would check my cables from main board to panel. Don't look like they are seated correctly

Ok checked LVDS cables are seated correctly i even took them out and did the beep continuty test to make sure no breaks i even swaped the LVDS cables from leftto right to see if it changed still fault remains in same postion
here is another pic of symptom
do you think it will be the main board fault
because i dont want to pay $200 for a main board if this is not the issue
any help or advice to confirm the main board

          cheers

You have the tab bonding board/T-CON on the bottom edge of the TV, these boards get damaged a lot due to cleaning liquid seeps on to the board and eats away traces and causes corrosion. I would also check the resistance of all MLCC on the board.

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

              Assuming...

Hi, this is my personal laptop, which the original board (lets call it Board A) blew up PU8700 (TPS51486), making a hole on the board, i had left the laptop at my desk one day with the battery fully charged and didn't touch it for a week, but when i tried to turn it on it didn't
Thought the battery was dead, so i plugged in the charger then tried to power on, the power LED blinked once, charged LED still orange, unplugged the charger, plugged in again and I noticed the "magic smoke" smell, so i unplugged the charger, removed the back cover and saw the blown IC (the "magic...

              by EazyBone
The board in this TV originally is BN 94-18058M. This is the model straight from the factory. When I look this up it shows the model for the 55-in is what the board should be for. But I matched the numbers and everything and it should work.

I put the new board in the TV and I have a small line around the bottom left and bottom and the colors are off I assume the board is set up for a 55-in. I am currently in the service menu but I do not know where to navigate or how to change the board from 55 to 65.

Is this even a possibility and how do I do it please....

              Problem

This is an LG edge LED lit LCD Display. The LEDs are on the bottom edge of the display. There are 2 bars (left and right) Each bar has many LEDs and a 6 pin connector. Each pin drive several LEDs thus is the highest current flow / heat junction. The weak lead free solder gradually fails with thermal expansion/contraction cycling and increases resistance. PSU will compensate up to a point, then when the current is too high, PSU just shut down the backlight causing a dark display. I have even seen one which the connector just fell off as solder points became completely detached....

LG OLED77G1PUA - No Video / Audio after a TCON Board change and Software Update
              by Hakuu
              Hi There,

This TV was auto switching off after few seconds with some vertical lines on the screen, so got a new TCON board and replaced it.

After replacing the TCON board it was working fine and i set it up with everything, used for few hours, then had the bright idea to update the software on it. During the update process, TV switched off and now no audio or video. No relay switch sound.

              More Details
