Yeah, I thought that the resistors in my strip would be an issue alright!
The current mentioned in post #15 is the current that he used for test, not the current that the TV expect from the LED strips, which is the number I'm looking for, and unfortunately I don't have an LED tester.
What model LED is used? This is my first time fixing a TV's backlight, so I'm a bit lost, not sure if this LED model is common across TVs and what model is it.
Something like this maybe? 3000k? 3030? 119lm? 350mA? 1W?

This one is 3.2V though, not sure if needs to be exactly 3V, as it does add up to 44.8V when in series (instead of 42V)...
Sorry about so many questions.. But if I get the exact LED model then I'll have no trouble figuring out the rest myself!
