The Samsung UE40D5500 reboots after 2-5minutes (turns off for a second and then boots up). To me it seems like it can be psu LED protection circuitry issue most likely or somekind of mainboard fault (tv has the neeest firmware, but maybe eeprom or nand chips are playing tricks). Before I remove all led protection I am looking for guidamce about the repair and what could be the real cause and whether or not my assumptions are correct.

by grimacelordHello,
I have a A2338 MacBook Pro here that came to me because the battery wasn't being detected. The owner tried to replace the battery themselves thinking that the battery was the problem but the behavior continues even with their new aftermarket battery. They also accidentally ripped off the black plastic clasp to the battery flex cable connector @ J5151, but I pulled that off of a donor board and replaced that for them already. I did quickly check to see if that was simply the problem, but it's not.
First thing I checked was I2C_SMC_PWR_3V3_SCL and I2C_SMC_PWR_3V... -
by EvazXHello everyone,
I am working on an ASUS ROG G513QY laptop with RX 6800M dGPU.
Originally, this laptop was completely non-functional. I replaced the motherboard (part number 6050A3254002-MB-Axx), and with the replacement board it started working fine.
For a long time, the dGPU worked perfectly stable. I played several hundred hours on very demanding games such as Cyberpunk 2077 without any crashes, instability, or detection issues. Performance was excellent and there were no warning signs of failure.
However, after some time, the replacement motherboard...08-25-2025, 06:09 PM -
by PsychedelicHi guys,
I am having problems with an Corsair AX850 Gold PSU. I have had the PSU FOR around 8 years but it had not been used much. This PSU was used to power two video card and an i7 CPU originally. I noticed that the 12v power was going as low as 11.4v and the 5v was going lower than 5%. I was getting random reboots. I found that the motherboard socket had bent pins and one actually broke. Therefore, I assumed that was the problem and not the PSU. I rebuilt a whole new system. This time AMD. I decided to use this PSU since I had it.
Now with the new system I am still... -
by ProsatanoszHi!
Asus B85M-GAMER absolute no hdmi output (not at start, not at Windows), and random restarts. Everything work, except hdmi and random restarts after 0.1-3 min. Restarts even in bios. On VGA Windows boots up fast, games and apps starts ok. Mem, psu, cpu changed, no luck. I need shematic, because i think the restarts caused by the hdmi failure. -
by DreigasHi everyone,
I've got a problem with my Asus TUF Gaming FX506LX laptop. I bought it as a non-working unit it had been completely drenched in a sweet alcoholic drink and was left for a year... When I got it, the motherboard wasn't in terrible shape, but I had to clean a lot of areas—about 1/5 of the motherboard. There was some corrosion, but I managed to clean it up and re-soldered where I saw issues under a microscope.
One of the two primary MOSFETs was fried (PQ33 fried and PQ34 were fine), so while I was waiting for a replacement, I desoldered it and created a short.... - Loading...
