    LF320EM5F weird picture

I got this TV with a bad LED so I replaced the LED, and now this is what I get when i turn it on, any ideas? Its one of those tv's with everything on one board so PS,MB, & T-CON are all together. I was told the tv worked fine until the LED went out.

Looks like one of the cables from the board to the screen isn't fitted correctly.
Or something got damaged on the little board that attaches to that half of the screen.
Photos with the back off the TV off will help.

The problem is that center band has good colors while the rest is yellowish? Maybe you have 4 ribbons to the screen and 3 are not seated well or some small components on tcon flight away.

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
            by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

            Assuming...

Hi, this is my personal laptop, which the original board (lets call it Board A) blew up PU8700 (TPS51486), making a hole on the board, i had left the laptop at my desk one day with the battery fully charged and didn't touch it for a week, but when i tried to turn it on it didn't
Thought the battery was dead, so i plugged in the charger then tried to power on, the power LED blinked once, charged LED still orange, unplugged the charger, plugged in again and I noticed the "magic smoke" smell, so i unplugged the charger, removed the back cover and saw the blown IC (the "magic...

Picture degrades over ~2–3 minutes (washed out / low contrast) – panel vs T-CON/FRC vs main board diagnosis help
            by tvguy12012012120

I’m troubleshooting a Westinghouse WD55UW4620 with a strange, very repeatable failure mode and I’m looking for insight on whether this points to the panel itself, T-CON/FRC board, or mainboard.

Any ideas as to what would cause these symptoms?

            Symptoms:
            • From cold power-on, picture is perfect.
            • After ~2–3 minutes, the image slowly degrades:
              • contrast collapses
              • colors wash out / look incorrect (greens especially bad)
              • image looks “milky” / flat
            • Turning the TV off for a few minutes fully resets it; behavior repeats almost exactly each time.
            • Internal

            LG Tcon board compatibility
            by johnboy183
Getting no response from my earlier post on a Toshiba 49" TV failure which has now become clear is due to a physically damaged T Con board I thought it might be better to simplify by just asking on Tcon board compatibility.
The physically damaged board is an LG 6871L- 4044D. I cant seem to locate the exact board anywhere but have been offered an LG 6871L-4044D board from a JVC 49" set . Does anyone see any obvious compatibility problems substituting this board for the existing?. The main components look identical but I assume there will be firmware differences.
            I am really...

TCL 55S425 few horizontal lines, potential failure on both side of panel/buffer board
            by howardc64
All left and right refers to looking from rear of TV (or looking from front with TV upside down)
            • TV came with vertical bars and no image. Found faulty TVS on left buffer board. Also replaced T-Con (may have damaged the original while hot air removing components, board has slight warp) and have full image but few horizontal lines on the screen. Some of the lines appears to be 2 pixel tall while others are 1 pixel tall.
            • Disconnecting left and right buffer board potentially reveals problems on both sides with different signals (unless this T-Con require jumper like Samsung FB_TRDY1&3) Fault
