    P42G15 7 red blinks

    Hi,

So I've got still broken P42G15E.
Not so long ago I've started a thread with 5 blinks - > dead SC board.

So today my new/old working SC board arrived, and after replacement I've got 7 blinks (screen flashes once and I can see a bit red tint on upper corners).

So what is the next step to fix this problem?

    Edit.
As I started a thread few days ago with a question regarding board revision the new SC board is a bit different. I had rev AH and the new is rev AD.
    Spotted differences:
    Electrolytic caps
    C414 old 250v 140uF, new 250v 250uF
    C415 old 250v 140uF, new NONE
    C419 old 250v 140uF, new NONE
    C412 old 250v 140uF, new 250v 250uF
    C417 old 250v 140uF, new 250v 250uF

    This blue caps
    C418 old NONE, new PMJI55J
    C633 old PMS305J, new PMS405J
    C632 old PMS305J, new PMS405J
    C631 old PMS305J, new PMS405J
    C634 old PMS305J, new NONE

I would have kept the post with the original thread, anyway forget about the revision difference, a couple of things you can do.

One would be check the sd/su for being shorted out or this would be a good indicator if it's the SC or not.

perform the SD/SU isolation test where you disconnect those from the SC, remove the 4 Vfg grounding bolts for the SD/SU. On the SC at the small 2 pin connector SC50, jumper those 2 pins together, turn the TV on and see if it stays on or still 7 blinks. If it stays on, that would mean it's not the SC
