    Lg 32LH500 not powering on.

The LED on the front turns on.
I'm getting the 5VDC from the PSU but nothing else.

The ON push button relays the signal to the main board but nothing else happens. None of the other supplies or signals become active.

    Any ideas please?

    Thanks!

    Sorry can't edit post above.

That title should read "LG 32LH5000 Not Powering On". Thanks.....

Separate the main board and use a 1K resistor to jumper between Power_ON and 5V stby on the power supply connections then check you have all the secondary dc supplies i.e. 12V & 24V.

You can also jumper 5V stby to INVOn/Off using a second 1K resistor and check your backlights come on.
Willing to help but I'm no expert.

        Many thanks for that.
I've done this before on a plasma and had lots of problems. I wasn't sure if I needed to separate the boards beforehand or not.

I'll give it a go and let you know how I get on.

        Thanks.....

It's not a plasma set so there should be no problem.

Done that. DC supplies come active and the backlights turn on.
So I assume my main board is gone.

            Can this be baked?
I've been reading a bit about that lately.

            Thanks.....
