hi...my research said panel was bad per many other posts in badcaps...

..but for the heck of it i reseated y buffers for the 3rd time....but this time i cleaned with alcohol and i think some of the lines disappeared...so maybe its not a panell issue in my case

i will do more testing and follow up

Re: Samsung PN60E530 plasma tv power on issue

Not same issue as me.....mine was ysus urs is y buffers

FYI....cleaned ybuffer connectors with alcohol and black horizontal lines gone

Makes me wonder how many people tossed out Samsung plasma so with horizontal lines thinking panel was bad due to so many posts online saying that...just reseating connector didn't work for me....cleaning with alcohol worked...most people I saw in posts just reseated connectors and when it didn't fix lines they assumed panel bad

              Hi all,

TL;DR - this laptop is driving me nuts with the oddball power-related behaviors. Appreciate any insight you can provide!

I'm experiencing a power issue on an Asus Probook P5440UF-XB74. Although I've worked with electronics and computers for decades, this is my first attempt at getting into motherboard-level component troubleshooting. Any help the community can provide is greatly appreciated!

A few weeks ago I was using the laptop (on battery power) for a Zoom meeting. The battery was running very low (long meeting) but I wasn't worried about...

Samsung Plasma TV Power Supply Issue
              by lp20th
I have a vintage 2008 Samsung 50” Plasma TV, Model code PN50A550S1FXZA with a power supply part number BN44-00222A. I repaired the power supply board several years ago finding a couple of cold solder joints on the back side of the board and it's worked great up until now. Recently a fried sound occurred with the smell of burnt electronics and the TV shut down. Trying to turn it back on yielded the typical relay clicking with no TV boot up. Upon investigation, removing feeds to the other boards within the TV it was found that disconnecting the logic board from the power supply allowed the...

              Samsung Plasma PN43D450A2D No Power
              by CDNBrewer
              Hello, I have a Samsung Plasma TV - Model # PN43D450A2D

This was my parents TV and the initial symptoms were that the display was hard to turn on with the display making various clicking noises until one day it would not turn on anymore.

I took a look and found a couple 1000uF capacitors (i believe on the low voltage size) that had leaked out their electrolyte and did not test well on a tester. I replaced them but still no dice.

When the TV is plugged in, there is no clicking, LED status lights (on PCB boards or the front display) and the power on button...

              Samsung QN49Q70RAFXZA Power Cycling Issue

              Hi all,

My Samsung TV display recently stopped working while I was playing PS4 (no storm or anything to indicate a power surge). I could still hear audio through the PS4 but no display. The TV kept trying to turn on but would turn off after a second or two.

I tried the obvious troubleshooting steps like unplugging, replugging, trying different outlets and power cords with no luck. Someone on another forum suggested that it may be a power supply issue so I purchased a replacement power supply board but that did not help. I then disconnected the main board from the...
