I have two 55f9000 TVs and one 85s9.
The motherboards are on the same platform but several hardware variants. From the service menu you can set both f9000 and s9
the problem with me is that out of 6 mainboads 2 are good but with different hardware versions.
The main problem is that all start but the ones with the corrupted software, display the busy hdmi3 port, do not find the programs in any band or any source connected through hdmi, but instead work on smart hub and youtube.
Regarding sek 3500 cannot be connected to a faulty motherboard that did not bk to settings with original connect box

Two possible courses of action.

1. Try to do a firmware update via the USB port..

If that fails...

2. Try removing the firmware chip from one of the non-functional boards and place it on the good board(s).. The firmware chip will likely be an 8 pin chip that looks like the one pictured. It will either have an ATMEL or WINBOND stamp on it..

SOME firmware chips are of the shallow, thin and surface mount variety.. If that's what you have, I would not recommend trying to de-solder/solder it by hand..

The firmware for this model is in a 4gb emmc with 170 bga, it is hard to change.

i have a ue55hu8500 with cyclic problem. with one connect connected you can hear the relay attacking and disconnecting, if you disconnect one connect the display lights up and the box connection icon appears. in box one connect I replaced gl852g because it was overheating and it was short but it did not solve the problem. the gl852g is for the operation of the usb ports. do you have a suggestion i can't find repair schemes or service manuals for this tv. I think all the tensions are present and I connect 12v on the one connect power pin the tv alone black screen and the relay does not go in loop.

Hi, i think this thread is for people with an F9000 series TV, you better start your onw thread to make no confusion to other people reading back contents for nothing. I wanna only to add an idea here after reading some past posts, the big problem here seem to be the firmware like my Italian forum reading says, the programming trough RT809F is not possible, only H model, there is one possible other way with connecting a pc through serial port, this needs a lot of hours and study to be made, but is the cheapest way and needs no firmware i think.. Bye bye..

PS: i see now that there are on ebay the firmware chip on sale, emmc type.

I managed to do a clean dump of the the NAND chip and firmware chips if this would help anyone

This is indeed an interesting thread, however it suddenly got very quiet.
