I recently bought a replacement tcon board for a Samsung 6350 and installed it in the hopes it would solve my issue but that didnt seem to be the problem. Right now im getting backlights and sound but no picture. If i unhook the ribbon cable for the left side of the tv the right half starts working but with both hooked up i get nothing. I'm at a loss as what to try next.

try reseating your t-con cables. if that doesn't help, then it looks like you may have a panel failure.WHY CAN'T PHILIPS USE PHILLIPS HEAD SCREWS? -

Look for short on left side of pcb panel board between t-con and panelI assume no responsibility for any stupid suggestions I might post.Comment

Seeing a lot of H Series models with the fault of late. You have the same issue as me. And I think it's due to a short as mentioned. Probably a SMD that has failed and needs replacing (hopefully) soon as I get a soldering iron I'll be pulling all my caps off to test.Comment

I believe I have a Samsung TV with the same issue. As a last ditch effort attempt I've ordered the main board. I'm curious to know if anyone has ever found and fixed a short on an LCD panel circuit board.Comment

Hi There,
This TV was auto switching off after few seconds with some vertical lines on the screen, so got a new TCON board and replaced it.
After replacing the TCON board it was working fine and i set it up with everything, used for few hours, then had the bright idea to update the software on it. During the update process, TV switched off and now no audio or video. No relay switch sound.

A co-worker gave me a 55-inch Samsung TV model UN55MU6103F so I can try to fix the following problem... As soon as I plug it in to the wall, the TV turns on, and the display shows a few stripes all over the screen. I took off the back cover and disconnected both ribbon cables that go to the display (one at a time) so by doing that I can narrow down the bad section of the problem, but in both cases the display turns black. I know there are some voltages that I have to check (VGH, VGL, etc.) but don't know what reading each has to show. If anyone could guide me on this,... -
