Panasonic TX-P50VT20B Red and Blue Lines

Hi, I've got a Panasonic TX-P50VT20B with red and blue vertical stripes (about 1-2 inches long) on the bottom left of the screen and a thin horizontal line of dots on the top left of the screen. Only on the left half of the screen, right hand side is fine.

The pattern shows up on black/dark pictures, but is almost unnoticeable on most of the time.

When I go into the service menu and mirror the screen vertically then the pattern is flipped with the picture, but when it is flipped horizontally the pattern remains on the left hand side of the screen.

Don't know much about it myself, but from a bit of reading have found that other people have solved similar problems by changing either the A or D board.

Any help or ideas would be much appreciated.

Yes, D board it was... £15 off ebay for the part (CONTROL BOARD TNPA5149 1D) and about 15 minutes to remove the old one and fit the new one.

Not sure if I'm 100% correct, but it seems in other cases where the pattern has gone across the whole screen then it was a faulty A board, but in this case where the pattern is only on half the screen, then the D board is faulty.

All good now.
