      Re: Philips 32pfl3403d/27 no power

I have checked and rechecked and l am pretty positive I have everything connected. The ribbon that is in my picture (in 2nd post) that goes from power board to main board was very hard to get plugged in. The connection on the replacement looks slightly different than the old board but same number of pins and everything else matches exactly.

Have you got a picture of both of the mainboards did you check when you brought your mainboard theat it matched with your lcd panel sticker too.

I'm not sure where to check the number on the LCD panel. I will post pictures of both main boards. Thanks for any and all help!

The two pictures with the connections plugged in is the new replacement board. The two pictures without connections plugged in are the original main board in the tv.

the lcd panel sticker is usually white and stuck too the metal tv chassis.
my guess its the wrong mainboard so maybe diffrent firmware etc.

These are the only identification numbers that I can find on the chasis. Are any of these correct?

yes pic 2 is the lcd panel thats used usually when i buy a mainboard i look and see if it came out of a tv that matches my lcd panel etc
maybe best to wait and see if other more experienced members agree this is probably the wrong mainboard for this lcd panel will the seller let you return it if it is.

                  Re: Philips 32pfl3403d/27 no power

I haven't seen any of the main boards that list the lcd panel that they come out of. I believe I can return it. Is there any way to identify which main board works with which panel?
                  Thanks!

I actually just did. Through a chat, I was told that all "cbpf82mkz4" were the same. There were no variations for a board with same part number.

Noticed there was a -1 on one and a dash -2 on other. Don't know if that makes a difference

so do you think it is the wrong main board or do you think it could be another board that is bad?
according to shopjimmy all cbpf82mkz4 are the same. Also, according to the listing I purchased from it has both -1 -2 and -3 listed as compatible.

is cbpf82mkz4 the blank pcb number befor all parts are fiited too it? thats why all cbpf82mkz4 are the same in that respect? hard too say im still learning myself but i always look for mainboards with all numbers matching the old board if possible.

I have been doing a little research. Could it be the inverter board that is bad since I do get what I would call back light but no image? Is there a way to test the inverter board? Thanks.

The inverter board is what supplies the voltage to the backlights so that seems to be working no image can be caused by the t con board have you got a image of it as theres a fuse on it that you can test voltage on it the t con board is under a metal cover top centre of tv

Ok. I took the metal cover off and took a look at this board. I don't see a fuse. I tried checking the voltages acrosss the small copper points that are in the picture and got 0.8 v on all points with tv turned on and backlight on. I'm not sure what I should be getting. Any ideas? Thanks again!

the fuse will probably be under the metal bar by where the lvds lead connects

Fuse is above center connector on left side F1

Ah. Ok. So check the resistance across it? I will and see if that's possibly my problem. I still feel like the main board is slightly different than the original but don't know how to confirm. I can't find any other main boards that have the second number the same on the white sticker as mine. Idk if this is what I should match or not.

If it is a firmware issue could you flash firmware or if pins are arranged differently could you switch places? Just trying to come up with something.

                                          Thanks !
