Good day folks. I believe I have a case of tab bond failure on my hands with this Sony TV here, but I wanted to do a quick check before even bothering. What does this look like to you ? The TV actually displays picture, but there are some vertical lines running across the screen. Definitely looks like a panel issue to me. I tried jiggling the connectors on the back, but it changed absolutely nothing. The TV has 4 ribbon cables connecting the T-con to the buffer boards on either side: I removed one of them, but other than making the picture no longer appear, the lines were still there. I removed both of them and that side turned white with no lines. I doubt it's a T-con issue, as the T-con usually makes a mess of the entire picture, not just a random area.

by gpo23Hello,
i order a t-con because i had bad colors on my SONY KDL-40V3000 :
With the new t-con the color are good but there are vertical lines on all the screen :
I've tried the old t-con and it returned to the initial issue (bad colors but no vertical lines)
Is there a way to fix the vertical lines on the new t-con ?
Thank you for your help

by AnonmisHello all, I was recently repairing my Samsung 55" UN55JS9000 tv from the common burnt backlight LED's and cracked light guide panel issue. After replacing the LED's and putting the TV back together, I tested the tv and all I was getting was sound but no image. Somewhere along the way (could be related to the next issue) the T-Con board became damaged and after replacing it I have made a little bit of progress but now have bright pink vertical lines and still no image.
The bigger issue .... I took the TV apart again and realized that I likely didn't sit the LCD panel correctly... -
by howardc64All left and right refers to looking from rear of TV (or looking from front with TV upside down)
- TV came with vertical bars and no image. Found faulty TVS on left buffer board. Also replaced T-Con (may have damaged the original while hot air removing components, board has slight warp) and have full image but few horizontal lines on the screen. Some of the lines appears to be 2 pixel tall while others are 1 pixel tall.
- Disconnecting left and right buffer board potentially reveals problems on both sides with different signals (unless this T-Con require jumper like Samsung FB_TRDY1&3) Fault

Yet another post complaining about vertical lines in an LED...
I have a Sony XBR-49X700D that decided one day to display a black screen and the dreaded "Sony Six Red Blinks". I buried my face in my hands, fully aware that this particular error code typically means either of two things: a failed T-CON board, or (more likely) one or more dead backlight LEDs.
I did the easiest thing first: I swapped the T-CON board... with no change in status. I heaved a plaintive sigh, and began the onerous chore of complete... -
by ridaKHII have a problem with my Samsung LCD panel a320ap20s4lv0.4. There appears vertical lines where ever there is text . See my pictures.
this problem only happen with HDMI input, not with VGA
the picture is so good with VGA input
Could this be fixed by cutting some kind of tracks on PCB that drives the LCD panel?
vgh even vgh odd signal from Shift Register
and directly connected to panel?
Thanks for all the help in advance.
