you have with 3D normal view with out line.. from my point its not panel fault. its much likely with IC1001 MB had issue with low frequency. download the last version firmware to force the TV to reslash it . if this not help try to put pressure on the Main Board where the big IC1001 if the line disappear.

I will have a mess with 3d and the boards. Tv is on auto update so all up to date. Or should I try manually downloading?

Just tried switching between 2d and 3d definitely no lines in 3d mode. I will try a manual update and if no luck I will flex the board.

BS Ive had it where a horizontal tab driver caused equally spaced lines on an Led set also alot of other panels in the same way mainly samsung ones dont spend another penny on it OP it will need a new panel or the failed edge driver remove.

I've got the latest firmware already installed, is there any way to downgrade and then reinstall the latest version?

could you test to change the picture size to display as 4:3 not other format if the line there too ... ! you can also test all picture format

I have tried that, lines are still there on all screen size. I haven't had chance to mess with the main board

are you sure before you replace the T-CON and at your test that you didn't harm the LVDS socket ... as yours set 120Hz so it should be art of 4ch. take look on attach

The lines haven't changed at all from before and after the lvds clean and reseat. they didn't change when I replaced the tcon. I haven't had the back off the tvs to test pressure on the ic1001, but will try to get time over the weekend.

yes i had a tv once i repaired with 1 dead pixel drove me crazy lol as i new it was there no one else seemed to notice it at first until i pointed it out

luckily that wasnt my set with the dead pixel it was one i repaired the psu on for someone i tend to use them for a few days myself to make sure the tv functions as it should etc no overheating faults etc.

yes you are right. but such fault go always to bad connection ( include cold solder point) almost now only the main IC on MB did this fault. if as he said LVDS are good.

maybe the time now to take the MB to the kitchen oven

Haha I could do that but the misses wouldn't be to impressed if I finished the tv off. I could order a replacement lvds cable to test that.

maybe worth trying a lvds lead if very cheap not sure what mainboards go for in this set but its a very big risk if dosnt fix the issue but i guess you could re sell it on.

Lvds cables on eBay are around £10 or mainboard £30ish.

not bad prices then maybe worth trying just make sure if you get a mainboard you match all the numbers etc and your lcd panel number
