toshiba 50hp16 picture is pixelated

Customer said he was watching tv one day and the picture went black but had sound. I get it and turn it on and it is severely pixelated. It also gets lines in the picture when any button is pressed or video source is applied. I have checked vs and va as well as the 5v and all are correct. If I remove the cable from the y_sus board to the z_sus the pixelation goes away but I still get the vertical lines. I have a suspicion that the z_sus board is defective. I do not do too many plasma's and this is a new one on me so any help would be appreciated.

There are surface mount fets on the back of the upper and lower buffers. Bet one of the buffers has its fets shorted.

Voltages on connector p11 194v for vs, 62v for va and both 5v are 5v. VSC is 105v. Connector connector p1 va is 62v both vs is 196v both va are 62v all 5v are 5v. connector p5 5v and 5v. Are there any other voltages I need and as for the buffer boards the must have a heat sink pad or something holding them on as I removed all screws and they do not budge and I do not feel like breaking them.

I have ordered a z-sus board and will go from there. I will post the results after installing.

Well I installed the z sus and no change. Of course I do not know if the one I got was any good. I will send it back and see if they can send me a replacement.

What voltage tests have you done ? Or you just chucking parts at it ? Im here to help not bitch but its hard when you dont help us at all.
