Thanks ReeceyBurger123; the TV has back-light and menu display all the controls, no video or sound.
i opened it up i don't see any burned components, there is a fan inside that is
not running, tomorrow i will start to measure some components.
strange when tv went out it had a notice on the screen about upgrade some software , i did not put too much attention to it, this tv don't have USB or other control in the menu about it, if you remember of anything that i can start to look at, i would appreciate.

Ok seems like the mainboard is failed then, Pioneers are a bitch to diagnose. If. You have a scope use it to test the Lvds output to the control board.

Is this Plasma or LCD TV?....I read 'backlight'.....Plasmas don't have backlights.....but Main Bd issue, though.

+1 also PDP in the model gives it away as plasma bud. Also you are right they dont have backlight but low level prime to keep the gases active in the panel when on full black level.

It appears that you might get some information out of the serial port if you have a device that is capable (logs, error counts, versioning).... might help.

Thanks folks for all your advice, this TV is not mine it's my Brother in laws, when he called me to check tv, first thing i saw on the screen was a notice, not remember the correct text but some like related to ,(STB update software ) sorry for the back-light thing,i should say screen with menu display and controls,

Now new update i opened it up checked all voltages on Power supply and all were good except, on P9 ---STB 3.3V =5V and 35v=37 the rest of the voltages were OK,

now i had to clean the boards cause they were full of dust , i used the Va-cum cleaner ,
now power supply won't turn on,i only have the 125v at Fuse 1 and no volts at all, it's dead now with only steady red light that i can switch off and on on the main switch.
i reed somewhere about a light sensor Pioneer uses the trap switch ,can you guys elaborate on this, thanks

Trap switch reset you will need original remote control

Thanks vinceroger69; i appreciate,oh well the owner doesn't want to spend 80 bucks on the main board of Ebay, and he doesn't have the original Remote Control either and if i am not mistaken! i had to buy known good main board first then enter the service menu and unlock the sensor, not worth it,thanks
