    Service menu for Hitachi LE55*

I have Hitachi LE55G508 with bad main board. There do not appear to be any identifiable part numbers for these boards, and there are many versions based on board number.

I have gotten a replacement board, but the image is inverted, which could be caused by different panel settings for the main board. I am tying to find a way to get to a service menu to see if I can change it, but I can't find a method that works online. All the sites have the same 3, but none work for me.

Anyone know how to pull up the service menu?

I'm not sure if you found a solutions but before I order ANY parts I cross reference on a site called "shopjimmy.com". It really saves me time. Just search by your tv model number and it will give you compatible parts. It's not perfect, but it give you more information than you may have had.

Yes, I know of shopjimmy. They identify only one compatible board with LE55G508 and they are out of stock. I have already gotten a replacement board from other vendor

        Method 1 should be correct

1.1 HOW TO GET TO ADJUSTMENT MODE
Chassis adjustment mode can be access by pressing
        the R/C keys MENU + MENU + 8 + SELECT to enter
adjustment mode. For some parameters the only way
to see them is by selecting the parameter number than
pressed SELECT in order to see it; then DATA can be
change if other parameter needs to change then press
key then repeat the same procedure.

Yes, that is one of the 3 methods that I have mentioned trying. It did not work.

As far as I know it is only for once specific model. Hitachi TVs are often difficult to get parts for. No worries, I have already gotten a main ford from another vendor and the TV works just fine. The first replacement was probably listed incorrectly from a different model.

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

                  Assuming...

Hi, this is my personal laptop, which the original board (lets call it Board A) blew up PU8700 (TPS51486), making a hole on the board, i had left the laptop at my desk one day with the battery fully charged and didn't touch it for a week, but when i tried to turn it on it didn't
Thought the battery was dead, so i plugged in the charger then tried to power on, the power LED blinked once, charged LED still orange, unplugged the charger, plugged in again and I noticed the "magic smoke" smell, so i unplugged the charger, removed the back cover and saw the blown IC (the "magic...

LG 55NANO77SRA TV – Menu scrolling by itself even after removing button board (Main Board EBU66792103)
                  by ygorsan
                  Hi everyone,

I’m looking for help with a persistent issue on an LG TV model 55NANO77SRA, which uses the main board EBU66792103 (also used in LG UQ80 and NANO75/NANO80 series).

                  🧩 Problem Summary:
                  • The TV keeps scrolling through the menu or selecting items by itself.
                  • I removed the physical button board (the entire panel with power and volume buttons) and also disconnected the flat cable (CN202) from the main board.
                  • The remote control is not in use (batteries removed), and the TV still shows the same behavior.

TCL 55S425 few horizontal lines, potential failure on both side of panel/buffer board
                  by howardc64
All left and right refers to looking from rear of TV (or looking from front with TV upside down)
                  • TV came with vertical bars and no image. Found faulty TVS on left buffer board. Also replaced T-Con (may have damaged the original while hot air removing components, board has slight warp) and have full image but few horizontal lines on the screen. Some of the lines appears to be 2 pixel tall while others are 1 pixel tall.
                  • Disconnecting left and right buffer board potentially reveals problems on both sides with different signals (unless this T-Con require jumper like Samsung FB_TRDY1&3) Fault
