    LG 60PA6500 Mainboard

Have a 60PA6500 with no power. When plugged in I get 1 click from relay and nothing else. Mainboard has solid red light and front panel too. If the main is disconnected it will power on and I can see light on the screen and the logic board will then flash green (not the main). I pretty much assume bad main but was wondering if there were common problems with certain components on this particular board and if it is worth trying to save rather than $130 on another board. Any tips or help would be greatly appreciated.

Common issue with Lg mainboards...they are a pile of absolute fucking poor under-designed heaps of steaming dog shite Common issue on these is Bga solder issues on the Cup due to poor heat sinking give it a reflow could sort it.

Already tried that and no luck. Was hoping there was a common component or so that was known to go bad...

        More than likely ic505.
Ive already uploaded the dump for this ic for the 50" model. However it's for An EU board so probably won't work. Might be worth giving it a try.

Alternatively you could try freezing the ic and see if it turns on. If it does you could update the software.
