Backlight goes out after the TV is on for about 5 mins. Found this burnt out cable but can't find a new one anywhere. Was wondering if I'm going to have to replace LED driver also?

Re: Samsung UN55H6300AFXZA Backlight issue
Don't replace the entire cable, replace just the one wire in the cable. Remove the wire that is burnt on the connector that goes into the led strip but keep it in on the side that pluggs into the power supply. Then cut the burnt end off, strip a quarter inch off of it, solder a new wire to that piece and make sure to insulate it properly. Plug the connector in as you would but solder the new wire on the back side of the connector on the led strip. This just allows you to bypass the socket and you should be good to go.
I don't know if it will take care of your problem since it does seem to work fine for the first 5 minutes. You could have another problem somewhere else.

Re: Samsung UN55H6300AFXZA Backlight issue
That is the connecor for the LED strip inside the panel, the LED driver circuit is part of the power supply/led driver combo board.
The burnt is due bad contact resistance between the pin and socket of the connector.
The key fix is to make sure you have good tight connection on all those female/male pins, so make sure the male pin of that burnt section on the LED strip is really clean.Never stop learning
