    Panasonic TX-P50G10 Mainboard in TX-P42G10..

I had need to fit a mainboard from a 50" FHD Panasonic to a 42" set.

I had thought I would need to change EEPROMS over, but just tried the board as is with no alterations.

It worked--but had Mal-Discharge, not terrible, only on bright scenes it was purpling up and noisy.

Tried Increasing the VSUS from 209 to 215V this only made it Worse, all other voltages seemed normal.

I reduced VSUS to 200, and this resulted in a perfect picture, even the test-images in test-mode were fine. Another tiny victory!.....

The Vsus voltage on a 42inch G10 is 199v! Good job!

Strange thing is, this 42" G10B set's panel was marked, 209V, it had its original PSU, SUS boards everything except the main was original.

--I'm guessing some parameter of the sustain-waveform is just slightly different between 42 and 50" versions on this Panasonic FHD, and lowering the VSUS by 9V is compensating...

For longevity--I added a couple of heatsinks to the two large chips on the replacement mainboard, the Analog-Devices chip gets hot enough to burn your finger--That cant be healthy for it!

Hmm thats strange indeed. My 42inch V10 and G10 both have 199V marked on the sticker.

Those mainboards get really hot. Great tv's though!

Panasonic TC-P42S60 Plasma, how to check Vsus
            by Buzztv
            Hi,
This is my first post in attempting to keep my beloved 2013 Panasonic plasma tv going.
About 6 weeks ago the tv was turned on but then immediately shut off. There was no recent power surge or popping noise or any other symptom.
I checked all of the obvious things and decided to try a replacement power supply board (PSS in Panasonic lingo).
I would like to check the Vsus but this is one of the final models and at that point Panasonic did not indicate the Vsus and Vad voltages inside the chassis. It looks like they were discouraging people from making adjustments....

Panasonic TC-P55ST50 8 blinks then no blinks
            by Andre Gilbert
Hello! yes I know there is already lots of information about this issue. I have a Panasonic TC-P55ST50 that originally displayed an 8-blink error code. Following the troubleshooting flowchart, I ended up replacing the SS board. However, even after replacing it, the issue persists. The TV turns on and stays on without displaying an image, and continuity is confirmed on all connectors. What am I missing here๐Ÿค”?
Ok Im a mechanical engineer ...but I thought I was able to follow a rather simple flowchart for electric troubleshooting ๐Ÿ˜‚.

            hello everybody.
my previous post disappeared, perhaps due to the server transition... but let's move on...

I bought a similar board on ebay but this one is programmed for the 48FHD panel, my panel is 47FHD... in the service manual I can't find information on how to change it... or what to change... thank you.โ€‹

Dell Latitude 7420 - Touchscreen not working since Mainboard replacement
            by Mirenia
            Hi everyone,

I've got a little "problem child": my Dell Latitude 7420 2-in-1, which had a faulty mainboard.
I replaced it, but ever since, the touchscreen no longer works — and honestly, I’m running out of ideas…

In Windows Device Manager, I just see an I2C HID Device with error code 10. Sporadically, the touchscreen is recognized correctly for just a few seconds, but I haven’t been able to determine under which circumstances this happens.

The touchscreen also doesn’t work in UEFI/BIOS, although it’s enabled...
