JVC EM32TS LED - No Display, yes backlight

Hi all,

I'm new to TV repair. Thanks for any and all help.

I have this LED TV that lights up, but the screen stays black. I can tell the backlight or leds come on though, but no image. I can't find a service manual for it. Any help or direction on this one?

at J14 (connector next to the input)
pins
1: 5v
2: 0
3: 0
4: 0
5: 3.3v
6: 5v
7: 0
8: 1.5v


i'm sure one of those is my PS on but nothing is labeled.

did you have sound ?

BTW you need to seated the LVDS cable which go out from Boards to LCD, its wrong show on the photo

on the photos i didn't have any of the cables connected. i had already unplugged everything before remembering to take photos lol.

i did not test sound. i can hook something up real quick to play a movie so sound comes through. let me go check

on photo no 5 the LVDS siting just one side... this will make more damage

yes, that was just because i laid the board in there just for a photo. i unhooked the cable.

and i cannot test sound because I cannot change the input on the tv because I cannot see the display.

i did notice some vertical lines where the channel numbers were

its complex to trouble shoot ,, as the boards all in one. but one things you can do,, take the boards out.. and with yours DMM on Diode peep ton method check all SMD component No started with FB they are fuseable SMD parts.

Just a quick thought to help....use either the remote or the tv's control buttons to cycle through inputs...you don't have to see them on screen...just listen as you have a dvd, a tv channel, etc, playing until you hear sound. If you've cycled through as many connects as you know you have, then probably no sound working.

hi friends, by chance, some of you have the eeprom file,

buy a logic board, and this came with inverted image, and I can not find information anywhere,

check voltages on led panel driver board.check VGL/VGH/HAVDD/AVDD/3.3v/1.8v
specially the VIN voltage
