Panasonic TC-P50G15 7 blinks when power button pressed

Have not found much info on this model..

I got the training and service manual, but they don't say how to troubleshoot the SC/SD/SU.

I removed the floating ground screws, disco'd SD/SU board and jumpered SC50. Is this the correct process??

After this I get 6 blink code.

    SC board bad?

Oh and to check SU/SD board for short, black probe to floating ground, and run red probe down the connectors to the panel?? I seem to have a short on several connectors, I forgot if this procedure was correct..
SC board is very expensive so want to be sure these boards are good/bad..

Search for TNPA4782 - i assume that is the board that is inside.

    Your testing procedure seems right.

Check SC2 for shorts, if no shorts there check regulator IC724 - bad buffers can damage that one.
Since code changed from 7 to 6 blink you can check if MID voltage is ok - across blue caps, it should be half of Vsus. Of course if Vsus is ok

Turn it off you need to reseat the panel ribbons in the sd su boards. The lines will line up with the bad area. Need to be straight and they wedge in a little.

Be patient only do it with the tv off

I tried reseating once and it didn't help, I will try again thanks.

Looking at the image I'd say every single ribbon is not in correctly. Can't help much more because you'll just have to feel your way through it, just pinch either side of the ribbon and focus on getting it in perfectly straight and then as it goes in a little more pressure and you usually can feel a little wedge.

Focus on one ribbon at a time, once you get one right you may compare the next ribbon to it and notice the misalignment.

As tw2005 said, it took me at least 30 minutes my first time getting the su and sd boards right.
When I was done I was sweating as if in a sauna.
I've contemplated not fixing panasonics anymore if I have to remove the su and sd boards.

LOL, I've never had this happen before!! I am actually thrilled that the panel is not bad like I thought it may be at first!

Also someone sent me this video if it helps anyone:

I just tried again, thought I had every one of them in right, but it looks like they're all wrong still. Ughh
