The backlights are on a long as I have power plugged in. Using three 1k resistors jumped from 3.3v to BL_SW, BL_ADJ and P-ON-H2. The connector is unplugged from main board. Unlike the other member's thread, PROTECT3 does have 3.1v on it.

I see in the comments you say if the PROTECT 3 signal is OK, then we will need to look at PROTECT 1 signal. What voltage can I expect to see on it?

So the cut PROTECT3 jumper is solder back together?
PROTECTION1 is activated if the AMP+13V or P-ON+21V is not present, so check the Voltages on those jumpers.

Yes, you are correct, I did solder PROTECT3 back together. I tested the following points with the 1k resistors still in place and the backlight is on:

AMP+13V = 12.5V
P-ON+21V = 21.1V

So at this point you have problem with the main board.

After putting the TV away for a bit, I went back to it and found the problem to be the ribbon cable between the power supply and main board. There were three broken connections on it. I guess I could be slapping myself but that would hurt!
