    Vizio e320ar & LG 32LC50C

    TV # 1 - Vizio e320ar

TV was working fine. Last night I was hooking up a ps3 to the tv, with the HDMI cord. Turned the Ps3 on, and 2 minutes later the TV screen went out. I unplugged the TV from the outlit, held the power down a few minutes. Plugged it back into the wall, and tried turning it on. The light is a solid white light, no audio or video. I can NOT manually turn it on or with the remote control. My son said he tried turning it on and it was making a clicking sound. There was no power outage or anything.

    TV # 2 - LG 32LC50C

After the mishap of TV #1. We brought the other TV from the living room into my room. My grand child was trying to help and used a "baby wipe" to clean the screen. After mid-way through a movie, my grand child came in and said something was wrong with the TV. Now this TV has a brown spot on the screen

I do not know anything about electronics. Besides turning them off and on.

        Hello TV2

This is a screen shot of the TV from PS4. As you see, you don't see it.

I took a picture with my cellphone camera, and you see it.

Looks like he might of pushed that hard and caved the backlight diffuser in a little or even worse damaged the lcd foils. Take it back say it has shadows on it would be the best bet.

I can't take TV2 back, it is over 2 years old. My son said he seen a video where they took the panel off and cleaned it off and it was fine. Could that be done?

And what about TV1, anyone have any suggestions?

I have seen posts where they have cleaned the panels but that has been because of dirt, dust or heavy smoking.

The picture appears to be displaying the "Mura" effect which you can google for further information.

It is possible that there has been slight pressure on the panel over time which has caused this problem.

I am not aware of anyone successfully stripping down the panel and rebuilding to clear the fault.

If you do find a solution then please share with us.
