    PN59D6500FXZA Fast Track info incorrect

To test the BN96-16531A Logic Main PCB, the PDF tells you to short the highest two pins. If you look and ohm check they are shorted together because they are Gnd and they both measure 0 ohms to gnd. With that said I should short the bottom two pins?
Pins 2 to 4? I have disconnected the cable to the M.B.

Can we see the fast track PDF? You are correct that those two pins on the top row as shown in the picture is tied to GND plane.

Re: PN59D6500FXZA Fast Track info incorrect

      I jumpered pins 2 to 4. CN801 pin 1 PS_On was jumpered to pin 3 gnd.
All P.S. voltages were good. Vs 217vdc, Va 55 vdc, Vsc-193 vdc and Ve 93 vdc.
No Self Test Pattern? I would have thought that if all the voltages were good and the Logic board jumpered with the Control cable removed from the M.B. it should have worked. The Samsung video tell you to disconnect the the cable the PDF does not.
Any Ideas where I went wrong?
      Thanks

I put a Computer M.B. jumper across pins 3 and 4 still no test patterns. Control boars led 2000 blinks every second not indicating a problem with the Y or X boards. I am at a loss. Now.

On this TV the test patterns will work when the LVDS ribbon cable is connected to M.B. even though no power to it because I jumped the P.S. on. If the cable is disconnected there is no test patterns.

Acer Aspire E5-574G - Not Powering On
                  by novice1
                  Laptop name Acer Aspire E5-574G. Processor = i7-6500u. GPU = NVIDIA GEFORCE 940M. Motherboard Model = DA0ZRWMB6G0

This laptop was not powering on at all so I started investigating. The blue light would come on for a second, and then disappear. Fan would sometimes turn on for a second and then shut off immediately, and at other times would not turn on at all.

To start with, about 3 months ago I had no clue about soldering, motherboard schematics, board view, and then I stumbled about this forum and other stuff online. I have never done any of those before. But to ask...

                  FAST MODE vs NORMAL MODE

I have recently acquired a HP 6632A DC power supply. I am just beginning to use it and I have been reading the manuals for it. It is the first power supply I have ever owned or used. I am a very beginner hobbyist and do not have an engineering background, as may be obvious by my question...

I can't seem to understand what the actual use is for the 'Fast Mode' or the 'Normal Mode' on the power supply. Although the manual states what the two modes do from a engineering/technical standpoint, I don't know enough to understand what it all means,...

Where to find a very small fpc connector 0.3mm between 2 pins ?
                  by corrize
Hello, I search this connector (oxydated).
It's a fpc zif low profile connector. It come from camera sensor, it is very small : 0.3mm between 2 pins.
I ordered 2 from Aliexpress called « 0.3mm pitch » but one was 0.5mm between 2 pins and the other 0.6mm. In fact « 0.3mm pitch » seams to be the pad width and not the distance between 2 pins.
I can't find it. The other websites like mouser dont show the datasheet, and I can't check if it is 0.3mm between 2 pins ?

Do you know how to find this connector please ? What is the exact name for find it ?

Denon AVR-X4000 – Fast red blinking after 2nd relay
                  by SevenOFF
                  Hi everyone,

I’m working on a Denon AVR-X4000 that goes into protection mode (fast red blinking LED) shortly after the second relay click.

According to the service manual, a fast red blinking LED indicates a DC detection (DC_DET) or ASO (abnormal current) fault, meaning the unit is detecting a potentially dangerous condition on the power amp or power supply side.

Here’s what I’ve done so far:
                  • Fully opened and cleaned the unit (a lot of dust inside)
                  • Removed and visually inspected the AMP board → nothing visibly damaged or burned
                  • Testing is done with
