Hello everyone, I've read everything that this site and Google has to offer but I haven't found an answer. I have a TV that I acquired (model in subject) and it blinks a code 10. I unplugged the SN2 and SS11 connectors and it still blinked 10, then I plugged in SN2 and I blinked 7... Please help

Re: Panasonic plasma TC-P42C2 10 blinks
Disconnect sn2 ss11 p35 , 3 white ribbons at the a board and turn on. Check if it errors then Turn it off and let it sit for a good 5-10 minutes. Don't reconnect until it has sat because voltage will be present and arcing can damage boards or the panel.
Report what happens. Do you have a multimeter

Re: Panasonic plasma TC-P42C2 10 blinks
Set the meter to ohms and measure the resistance across pins at sn2. It's going to be ss sn or both that have failed. If you know how to check for shorts shorts check q661 on the sn for shorted legs on the ss check any of the rjp30e4 transistors for shorted legsLast edited by tw2005; 07-31-2016, 12:04 AM.

A short is low resistance if you touch the probes together the meter will read zero or very low ohms.Last edited by tw2005; 07-30-2016, 11:31 PM.

Is this a continuous beep? What is displayed on the meter when it beeps?Disconnect SS11 and try again.
If it's a continuous beep sounds like that board is also shorted which is possible that either one can fail the other as they are connected to each otherLast edited by tw2005; 07-31-2016, 12:31 AM.

Re: Panasonic plasma TC-P42C2 10 blinks
The board has been removed from the TV for testing. Here are my readings (e post = right , g post = left and c = center)
Q021 Right-left = 14.2ohms, center-left = 14.3, center-right = 1.2
Q022 R-L = 11.9, C-L=11.7, C-R = .9
Q001 R-L= 22.6, C-L = 22.6, C-R = 1.4
Q002 R-L = 21.6, C-L = 22.1, C-R = 1.4

Replace the SN and SS boards
Shopjimmy has a shed load of REV AC which will work. they're most likely new pulled from smashed TVs rather than pre-used
https://www.shopjimmy.com/panasonic-...c-sn-board.htm
For the SS you'll have to find a good used one or send it in to PTS Electronics for a rebuild but used is cheaper
TNPA5072AC, TNPA5072AF should work ok
