    UN60ES7500FXZA relay clicking and dead

This is what I have so far
the person who was watching the TV when it quit says they heard a pop then it died.
Now all I get is the relay on the power board clicking and a green led top center blink blink pause blink blink pause.
I have removed the back cover and inspected the boards, there is no visible damage to any components. the power board is BN44-00526A

    does anyone have any ideas?

    thanks in advance

    Jim

No pictures of the whole backside of the TV that shows all the boards and how they are connected together? And then the pictures top and bottom side of BN44-00526A.

OK, remove the cable between the power supply/LED driver combo board and the main board then plug the power cord into the outlet, the backlights should come on and stay on if the power supply/LED driver board is OK.

correction the relay did switch the engage is rather faint I did not hear the first time the disengage is much easier to hear (for me my hearing is not the best)

I just wanted to thank Budm for the tip
I ordered a replacement power board and that resolved the issue

                  thanks again

Re: UN60ES7500FXZA relay clicking and dead

Resurrecting an old thread. I'm having the same problem with this same power supply board.
I'm trying to repair it if possible as a new ps is $100.

Ordered a repair kit from shopjimmy but I have found a short on jumper pin jp854. All that is going to this that I can tell is a component labeled “sp3”. I have no clue what this part is and can't trace where it goes to from there

                    Any help would be appreciated.

First pic shows the sp3 on the far left.
The other pics are front and back of ps.
