SAMSUNG BACKLIGHT FAULTY but audio ok

I have a Samsung 32'' model:LE32A430T1 with a faulty backlight, after switching the power on the backlight presents for 1 second and then backlight switch's off, but the audio works fine.

I checked for fuses and capacitors on the inverter board (CMO E74060) but they are fine,

Can some one guide me ?

    Thanks

Pictures of the whole backside of the TV that shows all the boards so we can see what we are dealing with?

OK, it uses CMO inverter board.
I need the straight shot pictures of the inverter board so I can tell you which pins on the inverter transformers you need to check the high Voltage winding resistance to see of the inverter transformers are OK or not.
Also provide the P/N as printed on top of the inverter transformers.
BTW, there are more than one versions of the inverter board I315B1-16A:
        http://www.shopjimmy.com/catalogsear.../?q=i315B1-16A
So please indicate which one that you have, they all look the same but the P/N are not the same.

There is a thread on the site which could be useful for testing the inverter.

OK, I see at least 5 fuses (F1 ~F5) and may be more, you need to check and see if they are showing <1 Ohm or so.
Here is the pinout of the transformers, check the resistance of both windings (S1 & S2, S3 & S4) of each transformer, they all should be within 3% from each other.

the fuses form f1 to f5 are all good. About transformers I checked with ohm meter and they are approximately with the same value of 1kohm.

checked also Tubes with an external ccfl tester and they looking good, I think their was a problem with the IC OZ964??

Is their any disable pin for the error on IC OZ964???

                  Thanks

check U10,U11,U12 etc for shorts.... The transformer side you can see all legs connected, the other side goes to a few things, put multimeter on beep mode(so it beeps when probes touch)and put one probe on transformer side of those IC's and run other probe over the other side legs, you should not hear a beep, there will probably be one group of IC's that do beep, take one IC off and measure the others, you will find the defective one

The Problem: This player has a toggle switch to select between Stereo, Mono R, and Mono L. Regardless of the setting it outputs the sound to both the L&R audio jacks. In the Mono R position, the audio output level is normal (from both the L and R audio output jacks), in the Stereo position the audio output is about half the volume, and in Mono L, it's about 3/4 the volume. Something about putting it into Stereo mode is causing the volume to drop significantly and I can't figure it out.

The player processes the audio signal using two different reference frequencies. The "R"...

The motherboard initially receives voltage for VGH, but it constantly reboots. When I remove the flex cable at the bottom, I hear normal sound, but there is no image on the screen and it is black on both sides. This time there is no voltage on VGH.

                        Samsung QE82Q70RAT no backlight
                        by sansanpartida
                        Hi everyone!

Hope you're all having a great day, and thank you very much for stopping by and taking the time to read this post to help me with my parents' Samsung TV.

                        My issue: No backlight.

                        Model: QE82Q70RAT
                        Type No: QE82Q70RAT

The TV was already serviced by Samsung once under warranty for the exact same issue, but six months after the fix, the backlight went out again. Now, Samsung is asking for nearly the same price as a brand new TV to fix this with the same 6-month guarantee.

So hopefully, I can fix this cheaper.

Samsung UN55NU7300F Curved TV. Half side backlight out. Fixed by just removing the rear snap cover
                        by howardc64
TV was fixed just after removing Samsung's rear snap cover.

This curved TV's construction is rather interesting. When the snapped on back is removed, rest of the TV will relax the curvature. Top of LCD panel is loose as it wants to straighten out against the slightly curved bezel. Snapped back provide most of the curvature shape. So just simple disassembly of rear cover will allow the rest of the TV frame to relax its curvature. Thats probably what fixed it but no idea which connection. 4x LEDs are edge lit.

Maybe PSU->backlight connector didn't have a good contact?...
