i got my first project tv a p50g10, it was given to me non working [7 blinks] but by the time i got it home it had come good, it worked flawlessly 4 days then turned off while watching it, 7 red blinks, if i leave it off for a while it turns on fully and may last 5 minutes, if i try to power cycle, it boots, backlight comes on for 3 seconds and then it turns off,
what would cause this intermittent behavior??. poor joints ? obviously nothing has blown as the tv is semi working and the signs point to powersupply/ysus/buffers so my question is, whats the best way to troubleshoot before getting the multimeter out, and also does this tv allow me to disconnect the cards to try and isolate the faulty one, ive been tempted to try it but have read you can blow cards on certain models
can anyone talk me through the first stages of troubleshooting and isolating the boards please, this is my first repair project im pretty nooby at electronics but im learning fast
