Can we see good high resolution of YOUR boards? Also pictures of the whole back side so we can see all the boards and how they are connected together, especially the LCD panel.

I suspect the problem either in the main/logic board or the T-CON board (https://www.badcaps.net/forum/attach...7&d=1466529127 I need better pictures of this board to locate the SMD fuse to check the DCV on it) not getting the 12VDC from the main board (http://microdream.co.uk/iiyama-au513...l#.V2mrEvlVhBc)

Re: IIYAMA AU5131DT LCD Monitor No Picture Need Help!!!!

Hi BudM will send better hi res pic from main logic board can you give me a pic how typical smd fuse looks like on lcd monitor so I can quickly locate and also how can I measure it with multimeter to check the vdc or if it has any voltage to give u a clue and to locate the problem so I can search and give better pic of top and back view of logic board also I ll try to open the tcon board so you can see it also as far as I can tell you the power board looks like new even I changed those capacitors with 25v Panasonic Fc as you mentioned
My question is since I cant find any diagram on main board abouth the connectors and what voltages they are how can I measure the main board to check if 5vdc or 12v dc is gooing i logic board I guess I have to give you better pics to figure out the problem I am not so much exp im repairing lcd monitors but i read from topcs that logic board sends signal to inverter board and power board to start the t con board and its the t con board that shows data on the monitor however will swnd more pics tommorow from everything so we can resolve the problem
1.I am gonna send better pics of power board and logic board and also how they are connected together with inverterboard so U can Help me in identifying pins and how to measure it so we can locate the problem together
Thank you so Much hope that u can send me some pics of the smd fuse to locate it on the logic board wait for fast responce

Re: IIYAMA AU5131DT LCD Monitor No Picture Need Help!!!!

All right BudM I have to open the whole monitor back and take out t-con board which is covered in 6 screws and do better hi res pics and try to find smd Fuses and their values and also to give u a better hi res pics from all boards give me a day I send them to you also it is very difficult to measure anything since I dont have expirience but I am willing to learn it ant try to isolate the problem I have a question for u since I can see on the back of the lcd monitor the ccfl tubes are constantly on does that mean that the power board is giving voltage to the inverterboard so we can say that is notghing wrong with the inverter board.I also suspect that is something wrong with T-con board too.Ok another question If I find the fuses and their value and check the voltage DC on the fuses and is not getting any power does it means that after replacing the t-con board will automaticlly send signal to powerboard to start the inverter board and power board since as you can see from the pics of the powerboard everything is new nothing is burned or damaged even replaced those caps od secondary side tested fuse on powerboard is ok Bridge rectifier and diods are all ok tested them ok let me find the fuses so we can continue the reson is that the logic board is all ok like new nothing burned vissually I didnt check the T-con Board cause I wasnt able to open it But I ll do now
Also I wanted to ak you abouth something since U have a lot of exp in repairing lcd and tv on the iiyama inverter board the board itself has 6 rectangular shape I would say transformers 3 on top and 3 on bottom of the same side of the board They have 2 legs on one side and 4 on the other there is some markings HIM I guess they are transformers cause they are connected to plastic connectors that go to CCFL lights can I measure those whith multimeter without any power and how to measure them with multimeter can I do diode check to check that are ok the 2nd pic that I show u from the first post
              Ok will send the pics
              Thank you

If your backlights are on then the inverter board is fine.
Willing to help but I'm no expert.

Re: IIYAMA AU5131DT LCD Monitor No Picture Need Help!!!!

The main logic board sends the BL-ON and Dimming control signal to the inverter circuit when power switch is activate and the monitor is getting the Video signal from running PC otherwise the monitor will be in standby mode (backlights OFF).
The main board also sends PS-ON signal to run on the rest of the power supply sections, it also send the switched 12V to run the T-CON.
If the fuse is blown on the T-CON, it can be just bad fuse that failed during the inrush current when Voltage is applied to the T-CON, or the fuse is blown due to shorted circuit in the T-CON or in the panel.
backlights are just the light source so you can see the image on the screen when the main board, T-CON board, and the LCD panel are OK.
