    Can't find any proper schematics

    Thanks

That looks like a ceramic capacitor. There should be something printed on it, you might be able to see it when you clean the surface.
    Is it short?

i know is ceramic cap but i don't know what size.
It's totaly burned , only pins on pcb left. looks like exploded. The glue probably shorted it

Re: SAMSUNG BN44-00234A Identify burned component

        1. the blue 18n capacitor is cracked and needs to be replaced, without it the resonant power supply doesn't work
        2. "the glue shorted it" - No. That stuff is there to immobilize the component and is definitely not conductive
        3. the cap you were asking for is probably anything from 100p to 470p, up to 1kV maybe. You need to tell us where in the circuit it is.

Actually, the glue does become conductive somehow. It's a known fault with Samsungs.

the glue is conductive in time.
the blue 18n is not shorted . just glue on it
the cap i need is probably 44n 1kv but not sure

From your picture the blue one looked cracked. Anyway, they often loose capacitance on similar boards, maybe worth checking at one point.

The small ceramic cap looks to small to be 44n / 1kV. But who knows. Good luck.

That is snubber cap. Can we see the bottom side of the board?

They've known about that damned yellow 'construction-adhesive' going conductive over time and heat--Since the 80's!

Bloody Sony used to use that crap causing all sorts of issues--even on their professional gear....

Samsung I guess use it as a kind of built in time-bomb! Self destruct in X years.....

I have the same problem with part CM-810. Can you help me with the value of the blue ceramic capacitor?
