Phosphor is not a gas and it does not act like one for a start, Xenon, neon, argon etc are in the panel they are gases. No way in hell do they overload or overheat either thats Bs you made up. The only way a Pdp can fail is if its cracked or the Panel electrodes short which almost never happens.

Also the other stuff about X/X and Ysus boards you said doesn't make sense Im not even going to bother justifying that. Dont pretend to be a Pro if you know nothing, you will be shown up very fast on here.

I hadn't even considered that it would be the solder, just presumed it would be one of the components! Thank you I will see if I can get it working, otherwise will be in touch if you did want to take it.

i try to talk simple all this gas inside a plasma is acting like a Phosphore.
In the instustry is a common language from the past every technician know this.
I do this for a living if you guys thinks you smart i said all the common problems on lg plasma in the above post.

Tried the oven trick and it works completely fine -all fixed and thank you so so much!

I really appreciate the help, so glad it was fixable and now I can continue wandering the wastelands in Fallout!

Awesomeness, my advise would be add a small fan over the Cpu heatsink. Should keep it chugging a little longer
