    lcd tv 22ld350-za

    Hi , can anyone send me a message to help me fix this LCD TV , because after turning it on, the picture disappears after 20 seconds and the red LED starts flashing. Any ideas? Thanks!

    Share with us Make and Model of your TV and Clear Pictures of the back of the TV with the covers removed. Also clear pictures of the connectors to and from each board so we could see voltages expected at each pin of the connectors.

        Can you take the voltage readings when you first switch on and then when you lose the picture at the connector highlighted and give the names of the pins.

            Re: lcd tv 22ld350-za

            Are you sure that when the backligts are on and you see the images on the the screen, the EN pin stays low? That EN pin is the BL-ON control signal.
            BTW, the power supply is an always on power supply and it is OK.

            9 = EN m =0 V. EN = BL-ON
            10 = BD ( M ) = 0,11V. BD = PWM dimming control.
            11 = AD ( M ) = 0 V. AD = Analog Dimming control.

              Hi budm , you are right , signal EN ( P201/9 ) at Stby = 0V , at ON ( when image exist ) = 3.3V , and drops to 0V 3 times within 20 sec and backlight become dark.Then , red LED fleshes and EN = oV

                It sounds like it may have gone into standby due to no video signal form PC.
                Do you have it connected to a running PC?

                      by Phil289
                      Hi
                      I aquired a Samsung UE46EH5000 from a lady that said it was turning on and off so she just purchased a new one.
                      On plugging into the mains and turning on i get a solid red light.
                      On using the on/off button or remote i just get a flashing red light in a pattern of flash/flash gap flash/flash gap flash/flash etc.
                      Opened it up and disconnected the main board from the power board by removing the connecting ribbon cable with the hope of getting either a 'no backlight' or a 'working backlight' but got neither,i just got a blinking backlight that turned on and off randomly...

                      Hello, Badcaps is my last resort. I am the first owner of the monitor. I reached almost every repair store in my area, but no one even wanted to hear about troubleshooting an old CRT monitor. At this point, I have been trying to figure it out by myself, but I have no idea where to start or look for.

                      I wish to know how to think and locate a failing component. I will put all my efforts to learn and contribute.
                      1. It started with a bright and greenish picture upon starting a cold monitor.
                      2. About 2 years ago, only on the cold boot, the screen started to occasionally flash with

                      ASRock N100M, no picture no boot, but semi-alive
                      by Exim
                      Hi guys,
                      I managed to semi-kill an ASRock N100M board after updating Bios from 1.10 to 2.01. It's a zombie now, dead, but not dead.

                      ASRock N100M special features:
                      - CPU soldered to board, small Intel 12th gen
                      - iGPU
                      - four POST LEDs

                      Problem after updating Bios to 2.01 using the in-Bios update tool: no picture, no boot.
                      I am not sure anymore if it booted at least once successfully after updating the bios to 2.01, maybe not, I can't remember. I think it did not.

                      Symptoms:
                      - no picture/signal on any of the display connectors,...

                      Elitebooks (820, 840 etc. all gens) and those continuously flashing Power LED + flashing CapsLock LED
                      by STKR123
                      As the Elitebooks (820, 840 all gens) only show flashing Power LED and flashing CapsLock (continuously) + a very soft "ticking" noise near the DC Jack,
                      I wonder if re-flashing the BIOS might be of any use here.

                      As far as I understood, steady flashing either means insufficient power or a CPU/GPU/Motherboard issue. I use the original 65watt power supply.

                      There are so many threads out there, but most of the solutions involve flashing codes, which I dont have or claim that you MUST use the original power supply, do a hard reset, reseat the RAM, clean the RAM,...
