    Hitachi P50H401A capacitor question.

I picked this tv up today for free. It works but I could see the back full of dust.
I took the back off to blow it out and just look over the caps.
They all look fine except I'm not sure about 2 huge ones on the psu.
    They are 100v 3300uf.

They look like they could be starting to bulge.Since their close by the heatsinks and a very common value cap known to fail I'd forsure change them.In fact when I flip your pic upright I can see that those two caps the metal at the top on of them doesn't look flush they looked bulged.I'd also suggest that you change any other caps on the board especially the ones close by the heat sources like the heatsinks etc. What I do is if you've a 3300uf 100v cap upgrade the voltage to the next highest voltage cap that you can find.Make sure their high quality Low ESR caps. Sites like mouser.com, http://www.digikey.com/product-searc...=160v%203300uf, badcaps also have caps for sale.I'd go over all the boards soldering connections especially by the hot spots of the board and solder them.Just make sure you get ones that will fit that board.

I have been buying my caps from digikey. I looked on there, these have different leads than the ones I'm used to changing. They seem short and stubby.
Are they soldered on the same?

Common issue on these, they also have a habit of blowing the buffer when these caps fail so change them asap. Also got a picture of the whole back side of the Tv so we can see the chassis ?

Those you linked are too big. The ones in there now are 30mm. The smallest of the ones you linked to are 35mm. Those 2 are almost touching as is. There isn't another 10mm between the two.
