Hello All!
When I got the television it was not powering on and the person told me that they heard a loud pop and then it turned off. This person replaced the fuse but it kept blowing. Once I had the television I confirmed that, yes the fuse was blowing whenever it was replaced. There was no standby light and the replacement power board was not expensive so I opted for a replacement immediately. Link to image of original board is attached.
Once the new board was installed the fuse no longer blew but I was still not getting a standby light. Putting the meter up to the 3.3v on pin one shows 3.33v which I'm assuming is the stanby voltage. This may be my problem but there are no other indications of where to test for stanby voltage. When testing pins 14, 9, 8, and, 4 they all read what they're supposed to read. I've attempted shorting pin 3 to pin 1 pin 4 and pins 8 and 9 to force the television on but I get nothing. I've also shorted pin 11 to pin 12 and the back lights flash on and off over and over. I've replaced this board with 3 others with the same results. I've also replaced the main board with no success. Every time no standby light. To be honest I'm a little in experienced when it comes to advanced testing so any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
