Swap a plasma panel to different manufacturer

I'm certain the answer is no, but I wanted to ask. I have a customer that is determined to have me replace the plasma panel on his Samsung PN51E530AF which is cracked, with the panel on his Panasonic TC-P50x3. Panel number for the Panasonic is (MC127HU1400) Panel number on the Samsung is (S51FH-YD01, or.. S51FH-YB01) I have done almost every type of repair minus a panel swap. Panasonic has all bad boards, Samsung has bad panel, good internals. Possible?

Yeah and while your at it you could help me assemble a flux capacitor to my SEAT Leon.

I think the flux capacitor would be easier

Well the first hurdle you're going to have is one is a 1080p TV and the other is a 720p TV.

        Mechanical dimensions won't fit, 51" vs 50".

The next problem is the sustain boards won't connect up. Buffer connections will be different.

The final issues you're going to have, if somehow the other issues are resolved, is that the controller won't know how to properly discharge this new panel, and it won't be able to display an image correctly.

Once we get that flux capacitor into Hamie's chariot, we go back in time to before the screen cracked and change the event.

Tell cust its just impossible to put a 720p in a 1080p set--I'm sure you can imagine Why this is not possible!

Even if the same screen res and make but different models, be bloody near impossible and if you did manage somehow--it would never be right.

Set makers change designs--even under same model-number, more times than you change your shorts, boards, panels etc are often completely incompatable....

Like the 50" LG Ive got. 50PS3000. Got two, Same Model Number--Completely Different X-SUS, can't even screw it into the faulty set--NOTHING lines up.
--Thats the SAME MAKE AND MODEL!

Be easier to source the RIGHT panel from an otherwise buggered set....

How PLASMA SCREENS WORK, X-SUS and Y-SUS what they do--
