I did have some success resoldering some address lines in the ribbons on a 720p Samsung that the fools I used to work with broke off using very small copper wire.p a few months back that was a task I tell you.

        Hi,
I know is a old thread. But i have got similar issue.
The problem with the TV began after turning off the main fuse in the house. The TV switched on, but the image started to flash and turned off after 1 minute.
After turning on the TV, the blue LED lights up, but then turns off and flashes red.
TV on the front panel Flashing 2 times on red and on the PSU 3 times.
I bought new PSU but nothing change(may by is broken as well).
Any tips on how to check the power supply?

They appear to be very close in specification.
The main difference that I can see is that the FKP330C has a Drain to Source breakdown voltage of 330V and the "A" only 300V Personally I would look for something with an identical or higher breakdown voltage.
You could contact Sanken and see what their substitute would be

Sony OLED XR-77A80J - 5 Flashes But Turn On After Hard Reset
              by odie34
I am a hobbyist (not a professional) so please be gentle...

I recently received an XR-77A80J that wouldn't turn on. (Repeating 5 flashes when plugged in.)

I did a hard reset by holding the power button for about 30 seconds until the set powered down. I then tried to turn it on and it powered up, bringing me to the setup screen. There's not a lot of detail on the setup screen but the picture didn't have any distortions, so at least a cursory examination suggests no physical damage to the screen. The set appeared to be working normally, but it shut down after about 15 seconds,...

Pioneer VSX-D1011 - turn on problem
              by matpod16
Hi all! I have a problem with Pioneer VSX-D1011 – it don't turn on when the amplifier is disconnected from the socket for a few minutes. Standby LED doesn't light up. I'm a beginner in electronics, so I'm not very good at reading schematics. I tried to find the visual damages of components but I didn't see anything wrong. All of the fuses are ok, both of the switches the same. Have you any idea where should I start looking for? Once on every 100 tries I am able to turn it on, but what can it depend on?

Samsung NP750QFG-KA3DE does not turn on , Blue LED flashes 3 times
              by Egidio85
              Hi everyone, I have a Samsung NP750QFG-KA3DE , MainBoard VESTA3-15 BA92-24515A

the battery is charged. pressing the power button the blue LED flashes 3 times and then stays blue. then the sequence repeats.
              the fan does not start.

I noticed that I have no power on the processor and it does not heat up. could it depend on the bios?

any advice on what to check?

LG 50PK590 - three clicks and steady red light, won't turn on.
              by Noah Glasse
              Hi all,

I've got a LG 50PK590 plasma TV which upon plugging in will click three times and the red LED in the corner will come on and stay on, the TV however doesn't come on (no humming, sound, video, etc.) and using the touch controls or the remote does nothing. On exceptionally odd occasions, the TV will come on and work normally when plugged in and will last about 5 minutes before going back to off and unresponsive.

I've got the back off of it and none of the caps stand out as visibly buggered, I've also tested the three resistors in the corner of the power board which...
