Samsung PN51F5300AF will not power on

OK Need some help. Plasma's just drive me nuts.
Got TV son said made a loud pop and went off with no power. Opened it up and found that the fuse was blown and part of the copper trace on the back of the board had burnt. Replaced PS with Ebay unit, now getting 5.3v standby and nothing on the PS ON. The main board LED flashes 5 times then nothing. If I disconnect the cable from the CN801 on the PS I do get 4.3v at the PS ON pin. Next was to replace the main board which I did but I get the exact same outcome. At the at the IR connection test points on the main board I get
    Func_led 1.7v
    Key 2 3.2V
Key1 3.2V drops to zero when on button pressed
    MSDA 3.2v
    A 3.3v 3.2v
    IR 3.2v

I get no VS ON when power button pressed and have no clicking relays when set is plugged in.
Also nothing at the VA & VS test points

Needing to know where to go next. Back to PS, Main problems or XY Drive.I can provide more data from Main board test points if needed.

    Thanks

Did you try and force on the power supply by itself and see if all voltages are there?

Re: Samsung PN51F5300AF will not power on

I had this on a PS50C450 where the Psu blew up and took out the firmware on the mainboard which is stored on its epprom so it no longer gives the Pson and Vson signals. I ended up replacing the whole mainboard and Psu and the Tv worked. Look up for a video on youtube called "worst Psu repair ever" by MrReeceyBurger123 which is me and thats the Tv im on about.

Hi and thanks in advance for any input you might provide!
I have a Sceptre U550CV-UMRD8POTV83BB 4K LED (this is a dumb tv) that I bought new in August 2021, so It's just completed 3 years.
Main power board model: TP.MS3683.PC821 T-Con board: N4TP546UHDPU2L_BO

Last Sunday I was watching a dvd and fell asleep for about half hour, when I awoke the tv screen was black and couldn't get the dvd menu to show, so I changed the input to antenna and had sound but no picture, turned it off. I then got online and found this great site! ....read many troubleshooting tips and this...

Microsoft Surface Pro (5th gen) model 1796 - no power
          by PantherDave
          Hi all!

I'm trying to troubleshoot a Microsoft Surface Pro (5th gen) model 1796 that won't power on. Motherboard model is M1007506-015. My priority is retrieving data, but the SSD is integrated so it looks like if I can't repair it it'll need to go to a data recovery company. I've done a little basic board repair before, but nothing this advanced until now. So please forgive my ignorance in advance. 😅

I found the boardview for this laptop in the forums here, and am able to open it on my PC with FlexBV.

          Asus Probook P5440UF-XB74 power issue
          by GLISIT
          Hi all,

TL;DR - this laptop is driving me nuts with the oddball power-related behaviors. Appreciate any insight you can provide!

I'm experiencing a power issue on an Asus Probook P5440UF-XB74. Although I've worked with electronics and computers for decades, this is my first attempt at getting into motherboard-level component troubleshooting. Any help the community can provide is greatly appreciated!

A few weeks ago I was using the laptop (on battery power) for a Zoom meeting. The battery was running very low (long meeting) but I wasn't worried about...

Samsung PN50C540G3FXZA 50" Plasma, power cycling, Y-Main problem, Canada
          by bcstedt
Just starting to crack into this one and wanted to get the ball rolling.

At power on (plug in), power light on, relays click, repeat (sometimes)

After disconnecting Y-Main from SMPS power stays on and boot up jingle is heard from speakers

Removed Y-Main for inspection and testing

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
          by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

          Assuming...
