    Sharp LC-32LE653U LED TV

Hi Team. I have this Sharp LED TV that shows great picture and otherwise everything works well. However, my problem is that I cannot connect to Netflix or any of the other installed Apps like youtube etc. When the Netflix button on the remote control is depressed the screen shows 'connectin...Please wait'. Then after awhile it reads cannot connect check Modem, etc, The TV is connected to wireless WIFI and can connect the Browser, so I could search sites via Google, etc. Actually I am on the TV now connected to Badcaps Forum. What could be the probable fault?
I have not opened it as yet and have never seen this problem before. Thanx for the help.

Sure thing there. I'll believe you are correct. I can't find any service info or firmware, too.

No worries mate, finding the correct firmware is like trying to find a needle in a haystack

You bet. I'll probably take it back to the store where I purchased it and get them to look at it since it is still under warranty...It is ironic though that I could repair other people's TVs but can't repair my own....Ah well...Thanks for your valuable input, friend..Cheers.

I guess the one question would be, has it ever worked on your network? Potentially a setup issue maybe. I would give a try on someone elses network first if possible just to test a different network setup.

                    Re: Sharp LC-32LE653U LED TV

I left the TV unplugged over night and decided to give it one more try before taking it in. Lo and behold it came up and everything was working. I turned it off waited a while and switched it on again and, yes it worked all right. Just thinking, could leaving unplugged for a few hours and then turning it on reset the system?...I hope so as then I wouldn't have to worry about it again. I unplugged it again last night and will try it again when I return home this evening.

Thanks Reecy. What actually was the problem is that my Router was unable to handle the broadband. It worked well with the 720 but not so with the 1080. I replaced my old router with an upgraded one and that solved my problem entirely. Regards AFA
