Lg 60pv250 no picture

Just got this today at what I thought was a good deal.
Seller said it had sound but no picture.
I'm not getting sound.
The tv powers on, the red front led blinks when I change the channel or volume.
What should I be looking for.

Reading up here it seems like a Zsus board problem. The lowest mofset, I think that is what it is called, on the lower right is bent almost at a 90 degree angle against the board.

Check the soldier joints in the large cooper coils on that z board they are prone to cracking and high failure.

I've already determined that the ceramic fuse is blown and Q208, Q209, Q210, Q211, Q212 and Q213 are shorted. If I did it right. They were tested on the board. Is that ok or do I need to remove them?

Need to remove each IGBT for a proper test, I have repaired 2 of those panels (60PV450) and it's always been bad IGBT's caused by those inductors coil soldier joints failing.

One Zsus had SMD componates on the back side of the board blow too.

I got my zsus board back. The tv works now but now that I can see a picture, I see a thin horizontal line about 3/4 of the way down.
Inspecting the back I see a tiny tear in the ribbon cable from the display that goes into the buffer board.

Screwed right? I wasted $180.

Dam thats a pain, unless your soldering skill is good you wont be able to fix that I was able to repair a 720p Plasma ribbon cable but was VERY hard to do.

Nope. Skill are rudimentary at best. I guess I'll have to part it out.

I don't know. I bought in from Craigslist, an American online selling community for $100.
Owner said it would turn on, no picture but sound.
He took the back off, didn't see anything wrong that he could fix. My guess is he tore the ribbon getting the back off or putting back on. The screws weren't even in the right place.
I guess if there is a next time, I've learned to inspect the ribbons before spending money to fix it.
Already sold the 50" Panasonic plasma that this was replacing.

that Zsus will sell fast, that is the most common failure on the PV series panels and they are very scarce now.

Bummer, you can try to see if you can find someone to fix that ribbon cable but yeah its a very hard task, can you get a close up shot of the tear higher res?
