Hey Guys,
This is my first real post here. Im a complete noob when it comes to this stuff so bear with me lol
Yesterday i was playing ps4 when my tv (LG 47LS4500) made a popping noise, the screen flashed and then the tv went blank. I then had a burning smell coming from the TV. I took the back of the tv off and located a burnt cap (C603) on the power supply board. I located a few threads that had similar problems with their LG tv's but none of them really had a fix.
I'd really like to be able to fix this issue instead of having to buy a new tv. So being a noob when it comes to this stuff, is there any way i could fix the cap? Or would i be able to replace the power supply board? (and is that a hard task?)
I attached pictures of my power supply board. If anyone could maybe attach a link to the exact model supply board i'd need that would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
