    Phillips 47PFL7404H/12 NO HDMI INPUTS

Do we have any Phillips experts here ?

I have this Phillips 47PFL7404H/12 in for repair and custmomer said all 4 HDMI inputs went off while connecting something up , I have changed the 100 pin HDMI switching chip TDA9996HL/C1 , Done NVM RESET, re set all the option codes but still have no data coming out on pins 100-99 ,97-96 ,94-93, 2-3 , however this is all I can do without a service manual , I have checked the error buffer and it is showing TUNER FAIL error 34 and HDMI FAIL error 23 , but the tuning is O.K as I am watching the set ??

Any ideas or a service manual would be nice , many thanks in advance .

If it's like the Philips plasma i did some work on, the error codes have to be cleared before the TV will work correctly even if the problem has been fixed.

I think this is your service manual. http://www.electronica-pt.com/esquem...artdown/16847/

I think I am in the crap with this set, I now have the correct service manual, I wish I had got this before I took on the repair , service manual says
"after replacing HDMI chip you must change the default bus address for the new HDMI chip with the Phillips service compare system " And guess what , I dont have this !

I am going to try another NVM factory reset in the morning and hope this will put the default Ic2 bus address into the HDMI chip ram , if it does not I guess its game over .

Onkyo HT-R390 no sound output, video output ok
            by FrancescoV
            Good morning everyone,
I'm trying to repair an onkyo ht-r390 that has no sound output, despite the volume being at maximum, the rest seems to work; the video output signal (coming from an hdmi input) is present, but the audio is absent. Similar situation if I send an audio signal from any input I have no output.

The firmware reported is the following:
            M:1.00/11107BLP
            D:?.??/????????
            O:1.00/11107AL

The DSP firmware given the question marks seems corrupt.

On the BCHDM-0678 - 25140678 - QPWBCHDM0678A0 board the chip that usually seems...

            Service manual req Phillips 75PUS6754/12
            by learnmore
            Hello Community,

Would welcome any help on getting a service manaula for the above model (Phillips 75PUS6754/12) TV or anything similar.

Picture intermittently works fine for a day or a minuite then goes off, but backlights appear to remain on.

I thinking troubleshooting TV or using a tape method on the panel but would like some guidance on tracing the signals accurately rather than a trail and error.

            Thanks in advance,
            LM

HDMI Inputs Have No Signal - Samsung UN65MU6290
            by dumpstertv
Hi all, I have a Samsung UN65MU6290 TV, and it works fine using its internal smart TV functions but I'm unable to get signal from any of the HDMI inputs. The optical audio out works, and there's one other component jack but I don't have the cables to test that. Checking the TV's diagnostics, the "HDMI SW IC" says "NG," so I assume the main board either needs to be repaired or replaced.

I saw some mail-in repair services, which I'm considering, but my main question is, if I choose to go the replacement route, do I need *exactly* the same board? There are a lot...

            Toshiba 50UL2063DB randomly rebooting with HDMI-CEC and/or HDMI-ARC enabled
            by spleenharvester
I have this TV hooked up to only an AppleTV 4K and a Creative soundbar. Originally HDMI-CEC and HDMI-ARC wouldn't work at all, I replaced all the HDMI cables with decent UGREEN cables meeting the latest standards, now it all works perfectly but once or twice a day the TV itself reboots while watching a program, the AppleTV keeps running. I haven't fully pinned down whether it is ARC or CEC causing it yet. All are running latest firmware.

I assume it is just HDMI-CEC being buggy as usual on a shitty Vestel machine, but can anyone think of anything I can try before disabling it?
