insignia NS-40D40SNA14 power issue

Hello to all

I had a 40'' LED TV NS-40D40SNA14 with no power.

The main fuse is good. I checked the main capacitor, 64uF 400V, and found 3.4V which is not correct. It seems to me to have a problem in AC side, but the caps looks good. Can somebody help me here?

What ACV do get between the two inner legs (AC) of the bridge rectifier? 120VAC?

Yes, it is 120V.

Sorry, the bridge rectifier has 0.02V on the AC side. I checked the voltage after the fuse before.

Can be the yelow cap, .47K275V-X2, the problem? I have 0.02V on its legs.

You have bad/open connection on the board.
I see some bad joints on the board.
No power to the board, you need to check the resistance From point A to B, B to C, C to D. They should be all < 2 Ohms.
Then do the same from E to F (this one can be as high as 5 Ohms due to the Thermistor), F to G, G to H these two should be <2 Ohms.

F to G is open circuit. The solder looks good on each legs. Should I try to resold it or just change the DG-168-CV? Can you help me with the specs for this?

That is pretty good size wire gauge to go open, did you try removing it and then resolder it back on?

It has open wire. Can I use it with a spire less or should I change it. What will be the specs for new one

it's just a filter... one turn missing won't do too much...

It can have less turn it will still work just will not filter out the line noise as designed.
Which one is open? The magnet (Enamel coated wire) wire or the Yellow wire?

I am having a power issue with the same exact tv model. The initial problem was a possible lightning strike. The TV would power on for a short time and then shut off. So I ordered a power supply board and swapped it. Now the tv does not power on at all. What have I done? The board is the exact same. Are there any things that I can look for that I may have missed?

So what happen if you put the original back in, does it go on and then shutdown, if that is the case then you 'NEW' power supply is no good if it does nothing.
Ligthing strike probably took out the main board especially the HDMI ICs.
