    Lg 49uf770v no picture

Hi guys in need of Help and assistance. The Tv comes on fine but has no picture which would believe me to be the Tcon board in my experience. The difficulty I'm having is the Tcon board which is in my set is not the same as the ones listed on Ebay as i found out to my expense. The Tcon that is in my set only has numbers but no actual part number. I was told by a frien that the Tcon board can be found by what screen is in the Tv.......

Did you check the DCV at both ends of the SMD fuse on the T-CON against chassis GND?
So those pictures in post 1 are all wrong?

hi put your multi meter on dc volts with the tv turned on place the black probe on the metal tv chassis and touch the red probe to each side of the white fuse on the tcon board write down the voltages thanks, just be carfull you dont slip taking voltages as you dont want to short anything out!

where the t con connetor socket is just above it theres a little white fuse has a o on it just touch the red probe tip to each side of it and take voltage reading.

Hey, I have the exact same problem. my LG 49UF770V has no picture but the sound is working and the backlights come on. I have swapped out the T-CON board for a new one but the result is the same! Anyone have any suggestions? I've just ordered a multi-meter so I will take some readings tomorrow. What voltage should I be reading on that fuse? 5V?

                        Thanks

Not to start anything... but how did you get to that conclusion?
Did you actually verify the LVDS signal on a oscilloscope?

some tvs though you can alter the panel size in the service menu so the mainboard may of worked then got faulty or maybe a previous owner swopped it out, the main thing is the set is working now so alls good.

Depends on how you test it. While the DUT powered off, test the fuse with your DMM in ohms, continuity or diode mode. A short or beep tells you the fuse is good.

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

LG 55EC930V OLED - swich on swich of no screen

My Oled Tv is 55inch tv, 3 days ago I notice that middle of the screen is getting warmer and on picture I have ghosting, missing red color. Color red was still displaying, but it was not so strong as corners of the screen and watching some movies makes me angry.

Samsung UN60EH6000F Black Screen, Backlight and Sound Good. Power Cycle Returns Picture

I have a 60 inch Samsung UN60EH6000F flatscreen TV. The screen went black a few months ago Sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. I replaced the TCon board with a used board purchased from Ebay. It worked fine for a 3-4 months, then the screen started ‘fading' back. Once again, sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. However, this time the picture looks fine for about 10-15 minutes, then fades back. If I power cycle the TV, the display reappears, for another 10-15 minutes, then fades black again. Repeatable ever time.

I ordered a supposedly ‘new' Tcon board this time, and
