can anyone help i get strange pinky coloured ghosting on my screen .seems to be getting worse ,its worse on white screens . the set is less than 3 years old and has been excellent . i found numerous threads with the same issue as mine and the fix for most seemed to be cracked coils on the x y boards . i checked mine and only found two coils that were ok . and i cant find any other dry joints .so im lost . im new to the forum and mechanically minded .but know very little about electronics . any help would be amazing x

On your panel should be a sticker thats gives you the voltages VS/VA/VSC/VE see if your voltages match themComment

Re: lg pa 650t pink ghosting
Plasma Panel itself has aged.
A temp cure is to increase the Vs while showing full-white screen--Till the fault JUST disappears, and NO MORE...TELEFIX
How PLASMA SCREENS WORK, X-SUS and Y-SUS what they do--

Re: lg pa 650t pink ghosting
Trust me it is the panel when they age they require more drive voltage to accommodate a brighter scene . I think it has to do with lack of The argon xenon gases inside the panel as a certain age they evaporate a littleDid I leave the soldering iron on?Comment

by jimjoe123I have a Dick Smith 37" LCD TV, Model GE6804. I am using it as PC extended monitor only.
Problem is while watching tv, I hear a semi loud click(like a electrical breaker tripping due to overload, just sound like it but no actual electrical overload), then screen is covered with green or pink. I can still see the original picture image but overlayed by green or pink. See attached images. Pink.jpg is what I see, and Normal.jpg is before green or pink screen, What I captured was pink screen, but about 80% of time it's green and 20% of time it's pink.
Then each time... -
Hello everyone, I'm troubleshooting an MSI Delta 15 (MS-15CK1) motherboard, and I need help identifying the function of the two coils marked in the attached image. The laptop powers on and responds to the keyboard, but the screen does not turn on-neither the LCD nor the backlight. I've checked the main power rails, and all other coils seem to have the expected voltages:
• 0.91V for the GPU
• 1.7V for VRAM
• 3.3V and 5V rails 1.8V for the BIOS
• 0.9V for the CPU and iGPU 1.2V for the RAM
However, these two coils are not showing any voltage....1 Photo -
by YellowJacketHi friends,
I got this monitor, which works perfectly fine, except there is pink discoloration over right side of the screen ( picture1 ). When I disconnect LVDS cable, there is no sign of pink color, so its not backlight issue ( picture2 ). I took a closer picture of the upper right corner, you can see even some kind of pixel defects. Its only on that pink area ( picture3 ).
I believe, there is some problem inside the panel, the question is, if it is fixable. I have never met this kind of issue, so I really appreciate little help from you guys. What I tried so far - interrupt...-

by David MiteffHello, guys!
As the title says - the board is NM-D521, on the input of the CPU coils I read 1.2-1.3V, which should be normal, but on the output I read around 0.6-0.8V. The laptop bootloops with no picture.
As of right now I don't have a thermal camera, so I can't confirm a shorted or partially shorted CPU chip. Do you have any other suggestions as of why the output voltage might drop like that?... - Loading...
